Happy Crocheting Everyone!!!
This is a great pattern, I am using blanket yarn and a lot fewer sts, I am making a lap throw, my goal is to make 109 lap throws, I started a couple of weeks ago and just delivered 7 of them to a seniors home,my goal is to complete them by Christmas along with 109 Christmas cards. I love keeping busy with useful projects. They measure approximately 30X40 some are a little longer. and also a little wider. Every time I get 5 or 7 done I take them to the home so they can add the residents name in and present it to them. The person in charge when she saw the throws wanted to know how she could get one, she loved them.
Beautiful afghan ❣😍
Glenda this is beautiful! I love how you seem like such a patient teacher. I have a traumatic brain injury & now am more of a visual learner. Your teaching has been so helpful to me. 💜🧶

Hi Glenda I've been looking for a pattern to make a blanket for my nephew Angelo. This is a beautiful pattern. I live in Sidney, NY so you know the winters can be. So this will be the perfect choice for a blanket for him. 🧶🧶❤❤
Hi Glenda. I enjoy watching & learning from you. I recently made the baby blanket made with the premier yarn. Just don’t remember the name right now. It had the stripe then white row. It turned out great for my new grandson, thanks to you. I’m wondering if I could send pictures of a blanket if you could figure out how to make it? I’m still an amateur at crocheting. Lol. But I try hard. I really like the crochet blanket I saw, except for how the colors were done. I would love to make one of them, if only I knew how. And maybe you’ve even seen the way it’s made. I just thought you would know if anyone how to do it. I know it’s a lot to ask, & understand if you aren’t interested. But if you wouldn’t mind taking a look I would be so thrilled. Thank you Glenda for your time & being a great teacher.
This is a very pretty blanket. Did I miss the name of this stitch? When I make swatches I like to name the stitch. Or is it that there are different stitches combined so there is no particular name? TFS
Alpine stitch.
@@tracybzowy2486 Thank you!
Hello. I love ❤️ this pattern but I have alot of solid colors, can I use them and just switch out the colors after doing so many rows then go to a new color 🤔?????????
I believe this is called the Alpine Stitch-am I correct?
I used stitch of the week # 88 alternating post stitch it is almost identical to stitch of the week # 64 alpine stitch just a slight difference in starting and ending the rows. You might as well say they are both the same
@@CreativeGrandma I forgot to say it’s a beautiful pattern and I love the border you put around the blanket. There are no other videos that can touch you as far as teaching how to do a stitch and pattern. You are so precise and thorough, which is so needed when you are a beginner! xox
