This remains one of their masterpiece arrangements! So complex and engaging -- Adam Rupp's genius at work, both for the percussion and for the arrangement itself! I enjoyed your comments, too, but your questions would have been answered In the outro..
This is so very beautiful! These guys are so very talented. This was filmed in Minnesota in an ice castle. Please react to Home Free more! Love your reactions! ♥
This was Adam’s arrangement. The boys say his arrangements are always difficult. This was filmed in Minnesota- really cold and that’s an ice castle there. This is one of my favorites. So clever and well done.
Love Tim's bass guitar sound and Austin's electric harmonics sounds bringing a whole new feel to a song I never really liked before. Home Free has changed my mind on many songs that were never some of my favorites. Their Home Free touch is magic.
Great choice, John! My absolute favorite Home Free video. Adam's arrangement is, to me, the best arrangement of any Christmas song, ever. Have to hear it at least once a day - every day - every season.
Great reaction. The only thing better than seeing this video is seeing them perform this live. I had the opportunity to see them in December and this song was spectacular.
Such an intricate arrangement. 'Didn't know Adam had it in him! I've heard they resisted doing this in their shows because it's so complicated, but I have seen a show video where they do it. I love the frozen setting, but I'm sure they're glad it was only a one and done.
The onky version of this song i will listen to and i remember when this song came out, not one of my favorites along with Mary Did you know. Now with the guy's doing these, are my favorites.
Noticing that Adam front and center in the group sections of the video is unusual. It’s because he arranged the song! This is one of my all time favorite Christmas covers from Home Free! It’s so complex with so much going on throughout the song. Adam’s beatboxing is excellent. Tim’s low bass notes gives me chills, Austin’s high notes, harmonies, and the guitar sound at the end was ridiculously amazing. Rob and Chris provided the rest of the harmonies effortlessly. Superb!
For me one of the best arranged songs, or perhaps the best, of Home Free. So impressive! The phenomenal beatboxing/vocal percussion , the overwhelming bass(notes), the great harmonies, the sound effects, colors, etc. in such a beautiful but cold scenery. I could listen and watch this all the time. A lot happens, but not that it is disturbing. Just amazing.
This song was written during the Cuban Missile Crisis and I grew up listening to many different versions. People were so afraid of a nuclear war and this song helped ease tensions a bit. This is by far my favorite version!
An Adam Rupp arrangement, this was filmed in my home state, Minnesota. The ice castle is a tradition here during the winter. This was filmed in the city of Eden Prairie, but the ice castle is built in different locations every year. I was hoping you'd let the outro play, as they explained all this in that section...but..oh, well. it gave me an excuse to write this comment. LOL
Lovely reaction, I hope yall will listen to the end of the video, there's good info there. I'm a year round Christmas person, I don't need snow or cold to get into Christmas.
Keep playing they tell you where its filmed and also tell you that its Adam Rupps Arrangement 😂. This is my Fav Christmas song from them 2nd definitely is their version of Oh Holy Night.
I would suggest from now on, if there is an outro like this one, pause to say a few things, then watch the outro. Then, if the outro is just "Follow Us" info and you don't want it, then you can cut your video after the pause and end your video as normal. I say this because not all outros are just that. Sometimes there is information in the outros that you are asking in your reaction. Such as this one. In the outro you would have learned that the arrangement of this song was done by Adam (which explains why the video showed him front and center) and the video was filmed at the Ice Castle in Eden Prairie Minnesota during a bitterly cold part of winter. (The ice castle is built in a different location every year for the Twin Cities Winter Fest. So while it was in Eden Prairie for this one, the following year it would be somewhere else with the area.)
You should check out their Sea Shanty Medley. When they did the video for it, it was during the pandemic and they were like on a zoom call but still pulled it off.
Adam Rupp did the arrangement for this song and it's incredible. Do watch for talks at the end of their videos. Some don't have them but many do and they usually have some explanation of the video (in this case who arranged it and where it was filmed).
You guys need to check out Annie Moses Band doing their version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman!! Wow what an arrangement and diversity of musicians..... Yep this Rocks! Check it out: ruclips.net/video/gSNEiiH-gzk/видео.htmlsi=1SEcS0r_Qe4Pq_u8 This was the last concert my wife and I attended before she passed from cancer. It was 300' underground at the cavern in Tennessee! What an experience we were both moved to tears. Joyous of course! This song is a good intro to the talent this group of families has!! Enjoy🎉❤🎉❤
I have a question for you ? Would either one of y’all stand in that is cave while Tim is hitting those lowww notes 🎶. I darn well wouldn’t. I’m not that 😜 😂😂. 😅
I wonder, before they started in earnest, did they have Tim test those bass bombs to make sure they wouldn't make that ice castle collapse. Would have been a shame to have those walls shudder and crumble down on Austin and Chris just because Tim has long vocal cords.
If only you would have kept watching. You would not have to many questions.
I encourage all reactors "always watch their outro". For 1, they answer a lot of questions in them, & 2nd, sometimes they're funny! 😉🥰
This remains one of their masterpiece arrangements! So complex and engaging -- Adam Rupp's genius at work, both for the percussion and for the arrangement itself! I enjoyed your comments, too, but your questions would have been answered In the outro..
'My Maria' By Tim, Austin and a few others
Great reaction, guys! Home Free is so good at their craft. I hope Austin's leaving doesn't break things too much.
i love this . ty for sharing
Wish you would do more Home Free reactions 🥹
This is so very beautiful! These guys are so very talented. This was filmed in Minnesota in an ice castle. Please react to Home Free more! Love your reactions! ♥
Adam Rupp should do more of these arrangements ❤❤❤❤
This was Adam’s arrangement. The boys say his arrangements are always difficult. This was filmed in Minnesota- really cold and that’s an ice castle there. This is one of my favorites. So clever and well done.
The answers were at the end. Where they filmed this at, and about the ice castle that they filmed it in. Great reaction Home Fries.
Adam Rupp arranged this masterpiece. It is my favorite of Home Free’s covers. They filmed this in Minnesota. Thank you for your reaction.
I am about 2 weeks away from seeing them again, probably the last one with Austin.
Love Tim's bass guitar sound and Austin's electric harmonics sounds bringing a whole new feel to a song I never really liked before. Home Free has changed my mind on many songs that were never some of my favorites. Their Home Free touch is magic.
Beautiful just Beautiful 😢
That much bass inside the ice structure might bring the whole thing down, like an earthquake.
One of my favorites from them.
The monster Winter storm that ripped across the western States this weekend must have had the locals thinking it was December again. Good timing.
This is my favorite Christmas song of theirs
#HOMEFREE...one of my favorites!
One of my favorites from them. This video was shot in Minnesota, close to Canada. I prefer the southern states where it's warmer.
Such an intricate arrangement. 'Didn't know Adam had it in him! I've heard they resisted doing this in their shows because it's so complicated, but I have seen a show video where they do it. I love the frozen setting, but I'm sure they're glad it was only a one and done.
Probably my favorite version. Kinda like Pentatonix with Mary Did You Know. Peace, Love!!
Please watch to the end!! Ty for watching

You just missed the video's site location in your video. They mention it post-video footage,

Anytime is a good time for this video 😊

If you like this you need to see Pentatonix Mary Did You Know!
I'd love to hear your reaction to Home Free's Butts Medley.

👍👍Awesomely awesome!! 🖖❤
👍👍👍💕🇸🇪😎
#AdamRupp masterpiece 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great reaction to a great song! I've got my tickets to go see them before Austin leaves!! Sadly, they probably won't do this one!

Well said
You should do, Ain't going down till the sun comes up which features Adam on the nomonica.

Merry Christmas year around!!!
Best version ever!!!!

I just watched the video today that Austin is leaving. I support him, but boy, it will be sad.
This has Chris Rupp, Adam’s brother, in it, so it was done before 2016.
Is this my fellow Patreon John???? Great request! Awesome video arranged by Adam, beautiful!! Big fan too!!!❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love you guys!!🏡🍟
Another great acapella group is Pentatonix and Carol of the Bells. Not "Christmasy". Stunning, one of their best 😊
This song was written in 1962 as a plea for peace during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Austin Brown (redhead) recently announced he's leaving Home Free.

You should let the outro's play, unless they start another song. Sometimes they have something important to tell you.
This was an older video when Chris Rupp was still in the group. He has left and replaced by Adam Chance. Good for all IMO.
🤔
Austin is leaving Home Free, sad
