Thank you so much for the video.I just graduated and got my Associates in Graphic Design and although I have learned a lot; I've been kind of swept away from the traditional practice of designing and sucked into everything being digital. I am kind of in a point in my life where I am trying to discover myself again. This video really helped by reviving back my creative spirit again. I can incorporate these skills also into the digital world as well.

Finally a USEFUL tutorial! I've watched so many and been disappointed because they either don't tell you much and instead the person just rambles on about everything but lettering, bad camera angles where their hand is completely blocking what they're doing so you can't see a thing, etc. now that I've found your channel, there's no need to look further. I know this is a little random but as someone who does a lot of typography and hand lettering I should have better handwriting >~
I started learning how to write calligraphy and it looks beautiful... Still, my normal handwriting is awful 😅
It's not too hard, for me personally. Just play around with the fonts, decorations, and designs. You'll see yourself get better before your eyes!
Do you have recommendations of what tools to use or lettering on canvas?
Canvas is tricky since its bumpy, so you'll either have to use paint markers (try Sakura Pentouch) or a brush.

Just as any sort of accent on the paper . Just use it to add a little jazz to any regular word
