Thanks for watching! Хобби
I cannot emphasis enough how valuable this video is to someone interested in lettering. Thank you so very much
People who tell you what materials are required before they begin are golden
This reminded me of when I was bored in class back in elementary and doodled to kill time. Thanks Teela, for bringing out the artist in me once again.
Subscribed! Love this. Thanks for keeping the video short and to the point. I've seen all these styles before. As one "entity" they can be overwhelming to try to pick apart. This video just showed how simple and concise layering becomes intricate design. Thanks again.
Great ideas! Nice to see so many people interested in good 'old school' drawing and doodling.
OMG.. you are awesome! Thanks for sharing these and teaching us. You are very easy to understand.
I wonder what it's like being creative enough to come up with things like this
ヨセフィンえ you too can be creative if you learn to manifest that energy... Creativity is a way of being not a skill meaning it is not learned...
ヨセフィンえ lol
I wonder what it's like to just be creative, and that's why I have to watch these videos.
I'm dead inside.
everyone has their own thing maybe u have the ability to be litteral, simple, straight forward (its a thing) or see things clearly that are simple to u but others cant think of or recognize at all lolol. not everyone has that creative jean but it doesnt meen theyre dead inside XD u just need inspiration
Haha, exactly, I'm the same - I practice the letters with great enthusiasm but to come up with ideas... that's another matter. I love getting inspiration from these vids.
I love your patience and your tutorial. I can't wait to see what else you can teach me.
I'm new to hand lettering and this tutorial has been incredibly helpful, can't wait to try them out! 😁
Love lettering.. you make it look so easy!
I love that you did this all with regular pens!
I’m really happy I came across this video! You really made it easier to letter with how you explained it 😁
Great Tutorial Teela , thanks a lot for sharing . I love your work.
Love your handwriting tips !!! I have never seen #6 or #10 which I truly love so I'm going to try practicing.
These are super awesome and really really helpful for a beginner like me 😊😘
Thank you for this vid! I appreciate that not all of it was centered around that (girly, to my eye) faux calligraphy...and that I didn't need to bust out my ruler or anything crazy. I used the "sticker" style last week and had fun with it! :)
Wow, the flourish on “hi” looks amazing. I’d never think to do that to the dot of the i.
thank you so much for this video!!! this is the first time i learnt lettering and i absolutely LOVED this!! :D

I love this 😍😍💖💖💖
Lovely tutorial thanks.
Thank you for very useful techniques. Is there any app on Ipad can make them as a font in otf or ttf file? Very interesting.
Thanks for the video. Everyone who does these videos always seems to use the word "hi" or "hello". Lots of straight, easier lines! I get that it's for beginners but I just watched 3 and I still don't know how to make a 3D "S". Mine are terrible so I know I'm doing it wrong but everyone teaches you this angle method, which works great on straight letters but not curved.
Yes!
Nice one, Teela Cunningham.
This was great thank you!
Thanks Teela! That was great!!!
This is very helpful as a beginner :>

When I do #8 I use a pencil and ruler to get a consistant "shadow". GREAT TIPS
Wow! Thanks so much! This really helped enhance my handlettering
I think my favorites were 4, 6, & 8
Thnx it helped me a lot...
Amaaaaaaaazing
Woooooooooo so good
Fantastic!
Thank you for this video 🙏I'm challenge for me.
thank you so Much!
👋Well done! The only tiny change I would suggest is to use different letters each time - angled and rounded lines are a little trickier than vertical and horizontals...
Wow, cool!
Wonderful✨😍
Wow i really learn from her
Thanks!I bet this'll help with my homework...I. red to practice ugh
My favs are the last two, unfortunately, due to the camera videoing from directly overhead, I couldn't see much of what she was doing. It was too fast at that point too, but I loved how it came out!
Wonderful
Hi Teela. -Do you have a book of lettering enhancements? I've looked all around and haven't found one single book that is JUST lettering enhancements and marker effects. I would buy that in a heartbeat!!!
Thank you!!! This is awesome! =)
Loved your voice and clarity! Thank you!!
Great instruction. I am very new and want to be successful
I love this
very cool
Cool!!!!!😎😚😍
Ok thanks a lot
👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you. *:D.
Today nothing batter then this tutorial on RUclips.
What's cross hatching?
y do my letters look like limp noodles.......... any one else? Ughhh I'm rly trying. Guess I need to practice :)
Dont worry i was the same and now 3 years on i can do it properly so keep on practising
Me too my words are really UGLY
#7.. I have trouble with round letters, like O.
CLiKK
i know some people don't like this but i personally think it looks fine, but when i do a block letter that's rounded i always make it more of a square, if that helps
Maybe the camera should be at your left and not directly on top so your hand doesn’t block the view.
MHO.
Sometimes your hand covers the object so I can't see what your doing.
The numbers on the Pigma Micron Fineliners ARE the (rounded) size in mm. So 05 is 0,5mm (0,45mm written on the pen). You told wrong sizes! 😉
I like how i cant do any 😂
