As a dentist, I'll just say that it's a stupid idea on many levels. Cross-brushing (back and forth motion) isn't great, and they just made a machine that does poor job of cross-brushing. Another gigantic issue is that people have wildly different dental arch sizes and shapes. This one size fits all approach will never work. I can pretty much guarantee that a person using such a brush will increase their cavity and gum disease risk.
I remember five or six years ago I was really into Kickstarter and backed 3 projects. The first was a bone conduction headphone which bared no fruit, the second was a smart luck that took forever to be made and they actually refunded me, and the third was a desk exercise machine for your feet which didn't reach full funding. After the third attempt I just left Kickstarter alone.
I did kickstart two things, both PC games - Grim Dawn and Battletech. Grim Dawn was exactly what I expected it to be, a Titan Quest spiritual successor. Battletech was exactly what I expected it to be, an adaptation of the BT tabletop game into a turn based video game. I'm glad I was only suckered by two things that ended up actually being good.
@@angrytigermpc I look at Kickstarter projects as more of an investment rather then being suckered into anything. Sometimes your investment pays back, other time you lose your money, and on occasion you get your money back.
Honestly, I would be fine with a mouth guard shaped thing that brushed all my teeth at once via brushes but yeah this is definitely an overhyped scam. Just sell a whole mouth brush lol.
Obvious problem with it is that everyone jaws are shaped different. Even with good dental hygiene someone with a larger jaw is going to get a very uneven brushing. One side is going to get massive gun recession from it being too tight and the other side just won’t get brushed. They’d all have to be custom. Which, considering Invisalign nowadays, isn’t wholly impossible.
I'll be honest, I want to feel all my teeth being brushed at once. I think conceptually it's cool but I don't think it's going to take off due to people with many gum issues, tooth sensitivity , etc.
1. the disposable coffee cup is not very old, new invention ;) 2nd. the toothbrush thing. In 2018 a firm called "Amabrush" (Austria) had the exact same idea. They crowdfunded a lot of money and loaned 8mill. the product was even in the austrian shark tank show. In May 2019 they filed insolvency, the austrian public prossecutor was investigating, 30.000 brushes where delivered. the design is pretty much exactly the second one you showed, they copied it. look it up. But i'll tell you something, if someone reinvents the method of brushing teeth or invents something that could do it automatically and properly - you will be a billionaire, no doubt about that.

I can pretty much guarantee that a person using such a brush will increase their cavity and gum disease risk.
@@funkingitup1805 Waterpik + Sonicare = undefeated combo
Did anyone else get actual disgust and goosebumps from that, "toothbrush", or is it just me?
@@blakksheep736 It triggers my gag reflex. You’re not alone.
@@ArDeeMee thank god.
this series is gold! would love to see more
I remember five or six years ago I was really into Kickstarter and backed 3 projects.
Me: help me! I’ve been shot
Paramedic: get this man 50cc’s of kindness!
That UnoBrush makes me proud to be a Dane lol
"NoFundMe" should have been the title of this series🤣🤣🤣
Honestly, I would be fine with a mouth guard shaped thing that brushed all my teeth at once via brushes but yeah this is definitely an overhyped scam.
Just sell a whole mouth brush lol.
Obvious problem with it is that everyone jaws are shaped different. Even with good dental hygiene someone with a larger jaw is going to get a very uneven brushing. One side is going to get massive gun recession from it being too tight and the other side just won’t get brushed. They’d all have to be custom. Which, considering Invisalign nowadays, isn’t wholly impossible.
this annoys me cuz I thought of making this invention, now people are trashing it 😂 I feel offended by this!
@@FenrisZAmarok whole mouth brushes are an actual thing that does exist though, just more expensive than the gofundme promises
Ford: i will build cars
Coffezilla: lemme expose this dude!
Lol I've been using those first aid kits for years
Kickstarter crap was one of my all time favorite youtube bits, happy to see the new series :)
The toothbrush is still kinda cool. Nobody brushes enough, or correctly.
Yeah, if it actually worked I'd be interested in it because I'm pretty bad at brushing my teeth.
“Introducing the new way to brush your teeth..”
TRIGGERED COFFEEZILLA 💯
If these guys didn't say they designed the product themselves, it would be fine. They didn't have to lie.
Bite strength of a snapping 🐢 😂. You're on point Coffee Zilla
I'll be honest, I want to feel all my teeth being brushed at once. I think conceptually it's cool but I don't think it's going to take off due to people with many gum issues, tooth sensitivity , etc.
Patent pending , curve jumping , paradigm shifting century products
Redesigning the mug has already happened. The handle was on the inside ;-)
You have no idea how much I needed this Sifu
"It looks like how you test the bite strength of a snapping turtle" - beautiful.
Love you coffee, you’re the hero the internet needs 🔥🔥
It looks like something Homer Simpson or Michael Scott would invent, lol. One more idea for my future video about the most non-sense inventions.
FUCK 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💀💀💀💀💀💀
Glad to be here from the start. We will watch gofund me garbage with great interest.
A video dedicated to the miracle drugs and dubious suggestions coming up as ads would be great...who allows them and why?
9:39 biblically accurate toothbrush
1. the disposable coffee cup is not very old, new invention ;)
2nd. the toothbrush thing.
Love this series. Scammers galore. SMH
They've diverted from Danish design 😂
It's so funny to me that they put "Danish Design" as a feature lol
I ordered those bloody Volterman wallets years ago they still haven't delivered, total scammers, they even advertise it as out of stock and sent a few to influencers, nobody that paid for them has actually got them. SCAAAM!
Just as a FYI "Danish Design" is not just a foreign design. Hehe it is not something that you just hire a designer from Denmark and wabam! Danish design!
No, this is a particular school of product design (architecture as well) developed in mid 20th century with an emphasis on functionality.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone talk about supporting a kick starter & go fund me without them being mad about it
Please do hyperloop. At this point is gofundme on steroids.
