It has been a very nice experience to have listened to it in a single sitting ! As a matter of fact, each and every ghazal of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab was unique in its own right in its own individual way because each one of them was so rich in content -- Labz, Sur, Taal, and Loy and aesthetic value ! Still, I feel -- his masterpiece -- " Ranjish Hi Sahi Dil Dukhane Ke Liye Aa " penned by the great Ahmed Faraz Saab and being tuned into music by Nissar Bazmi Saab towers over the rest ! I have very firm and profound belief that the way the way the great Mehdi Hassan Saab had pronounced -- "Ranjish Hi Sahi" -- no one else can ever dare to attempt ! To be very frank, the great Khan Saab had given this ghazal an epic proportion through his inimitable style of gayiki ! Professionalism, Perfection and Sophistication in performance was the hallmark of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab ! Besides , he had a very unique style of gayiki which was so soulful and melodious ! The singing style of the great Mehdi Hassan Saabi was so simple and effortless but overbearing and very difficult to emulate ! The great Mehdi Hassan Saab had given ghazal gayiki a pedestal which will be very difficult to surpass ! Infact, he was the ULTIMATE in Ghazal Gayiki ! To be very true, the great Mehdi Hassan Saab was the Ghazal Sensation Of the Century and Beyond ! Perhaps, such a resourceful singer will ever be born again in this world ! Personally speaking, I consider myself to be extremely lucky to have born during the lifetime of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab ! Let us bow our head in reverence to this great legendary singer and noble soul for his impeccable track record and stupendous accomplishments !
