unfortunately i have nver seen mehdi hassan live,but was lucky enough to meet Pandit Mani Prasad in delhi India in around 2006 ,who is friends with him,this is Mehdi sahib at his finest,such a beautiful gift that you share Amin habib ji thankyou so much

Eastern Musical Journey has a similar route artistically & geographically too.The strong ties of Pakistan & Afghanistan is vivid in the History of Pak-Afghan relations socially,politically,culturally and in all the spheres of life including Religion, Values,Traditions,lifestyle,food & fiona, dresses,folk dances,Literature etc.Another Important aspect of these pictures of Afghanistan shows the glory of its past as if a dream, the development which was stopped and tarnished by the vested interest, intervention of the so called Super Powers,even today they want to breach the code of conduct of the two beautiful neighbouring countries who share so much....I've seen Afghanistan in my childhood when my Uncle Muhammad Anwar Khan late was Council General in Qandahar...what a beautiful country was Afghanistan.Proud of the Afghan Legacy and Pushtoons and Persian Dari Speaking,Tajjaks and other glorious people and times of Afghanistan who lived together with honour and dignity accepting the values of each others.In 2005 I produced a play seriel Matti written by Amanullah Nasar which was a tribute to the people of Pakistan and Afghanistan...the play seriel was a drop in the History of Pak-Afghan relations with all the upheavels which the two great Nations enjoyed in the past.Lets bridge the breach of hatred and life together with dignity and soberity.
