I live just around the corner from this community. Our family from Ohio comes down for vacation and rents a tiny here. It is super nice! Thank you for featuring this community!
It's affordable and that is hopeful. So many of us looking for a place to live, this type of community being affordable if available is a great opportunity!
Great place! Nice Fellow. House has a bit of a boat-like feeling inside. Very cool. One change I would make if building from scratch would be to move the toilet out of view from the bathroom doorway. If no other placement option, turn it 90° to back to the right wall and put up a pony wall (1/2 wall) so you don't see the commode when the door is open but the window will still be visible. 👍
yes, I find it so unpleasant looking at a toilet from another room and would feel embarrassed having guests come into what is otherwise a great space. Perhaps he simply needs to keep the door closed?
I'm very surprised he said he was 60. I had estimated him to be maybe 50. I guess he takes care of himself and is happy. Love his house. I have lived in my house 37 years and all the stuff I have is depressing. I envy him. I wonder if I could do that. And where would I put my many shoes! Oh my !
I love the tiny home just fabulous, so well thought out and I really like the minimal but stylish decor, very well thought out! Those sweet little pups are pretty darn cute too : )
Absolutely gorgeous! Two questions: Why design bathroom with toilet as the view from other rooms? I'd flip the locations of the sink and toilet. Also, i didn't see a refrigerator in his kitchen. I looked closely but couldn't see it. Where is it located?
I love the rational, humble decision to live in a tiny house even though he makes his living selling 'luxury' property. He seems like a congenial man who understands the value of living harmoniously, close to the water and in community above an ostentatious house that demands lots of up keep and stuff. Having said that I respect his not putting value in stuff and he tells us that he used to own lots of stuff and so clearly made a conscious decision to shed it - I actually would prefer the home if it didn't look so much like holiday home that he rents out. Perhaps if he had books or paintings or objects of affection the house would feel cosier, more homely. The only personal touch was his mother's bowl.
If you watch again you will see the art work on the walls. 2 large pieces. I change them out periodically with other pieces I have in a small storage unit for my art. ❤
I want to do this. How safe is it during a hurricane? I own a cinder block home in greater Orlando. These tiny homes have no foundation to secure it to the ground.
reminds me of rockford files, old 70's tv show about a trailer dwelling bachelor on a budget back then. only twist, now its a doubledecker. 2 story trailer home in hurricane territory though is just asking for trouble...
Luckily, we have stayed below market in our rental fees. Most people can’t afford a mortgage insurance, taxes, etc.. This is a great alternative with super great amenities, neighbors, etc..
😅 A lot of things people are not being told about the tiny home. Be prepared to pay four times more insurance on your tiny home then you do regular home. The lot price increases very fast.Becomes not worth owning it and living in it plus the lot.Owner's forced you to buy high insurancs to protect them from weather condition.Which is you end up better to be living in a regular home. You better think about all this before You start making decisions because they would not tell you the cost until you own home and you want to move it and get l on the list.
Actually, if you really looked around, you would see we are the cheapest pretty much in all of Florida, and several other places are much higher than we are, and not near as nice or on the water. 😊
That's Me I want a tiny house for 3 people tiny house, We are homeless now Me My Husband and teenage son lost our home of 20 years because We couldn't pay properly tax Because My husband lost His job of 33 years to take care of Me because I was diagnosed with Muscular dystrophy in 2009 and Our realtor Gary Green wanted to buy our home 4 years before We lost it and He said he would pay the properly tax and We was going to sell Him the house because we couldn't pay properly tax so we had to sell it to Gary Green or the people that bought houses So Gary Green said that He would pay for the property taxes so we would have money to buy another home " We trusted Gary Green- but on the day the properly tax was supposed to be paid He didn't and We lost everything But Gary Green still got our home of 20 years that We loved ' So Gary Green and His family are right now living in Our home Me My Husband and teenage son are homeless staying with different family members we want to be together How can a realtor in Chattanooga Tennessee get by with what He did to Us? It's not fair that We are homeless because of a heartless realtor named Gary Green ' He has His own realtor business in
Yes lot rents are too much in Florida. It's like you can buy a trailer and have a nice little spot for it. But you got to pay $8 $900 a month rent just to park it there. You might as well buy a little lot of land and set it up to be a little more off-grid like solar and etc
This makes more sense than people who have the money and live alone in a giant house. His choice of home is sensible. I like it.
Impressive house but even more impressive is that guy is 60?! He looks amazing for his age!
Florida does that for people. 😁 It’s the lifestyle; laid back, casual, free. Living free in Florida is such a pleasure. No stress. ☺
Lol, humidity is a huge factor.
He works 2 jobs stress free life financially ❤❤❤❤❤
Right! I suddenly like older men! 😂❤
Love this home Adorable dogs. I never would have guessed that Rich was 60 years old, looks much younger.
I would have guessed 48 at MOST.
I'm 46, he looks like a happy 60 year old to me ❤
I know! He looks fantastic!
Guess because no wife to give him grief.
I love that he uses his mom's bowl.:)
What a neat and tidy man! I love his home, too, and admire his wisdom in living simply.
Yes…he’s got his priorities straight for sure. How about that landscaping? It’s gorgeous! Luxury in a wee package
Wow, that tiny house is perfect! That’s all you need! One day I will have the same little tiny house of my own!❤
Love this house! Very well made. Love the little dogs too! Love patio. Thank you for showing your home.
Oh your mom's bowl... how sweet! If she's gone, she's still with you in spirit! 🥰I love my mom she's my rock and best friend!

Nicely done, clean interior design. Masculine taste for sure… which I do like. I would love to see what it looked like when he bought it!
Very cool Tiny Home especially for only 288 Sq. Ft.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😊😊
It's affordable and that is hopeful. So many of us looking for a place to live, this type of community being affordable if available is a great opportunity!
I love the simplicity of his place!
Great place! Nice Fellow. House has a bit of a boat-like feeling inside. Very cool.

That poor dog must be starved! All that jumping for his food and then voraciously scarfing it down 😂😂😂 so funny to watch
Pretty sure it's just a naughty puppy lol
i love how little stuffs he owns and make the space looks so comfortable with all the big beds, sofa and kitchen. love this episode
I like the cereal bowl, and the crown. 😊
I'm very surprised he said he was 60. I had estimated him to be maybe 50. I guess he takes care of himself and is happy. Love his house. I have lived in my house 37 years and all the stuff I have is depressing. I envy him. I wonder if I could do that. And where would I put my many shoes! Oh my !

May I say that he is so HANDSOME & we both have 2 Chi mixes each...lol, very sensible choice & he's happy there which is most important!
Very nice tiny home & I love those dogs! : )
I'm in love with this idea and this place is exactly what so many of us need! God Bless! AMEN 🥰😇
Very nice luxury look in tiny space. Cute Chihuahuas ❤
Love those DOGS. OH and your house!
the dogs caught my eye immediately :D SO CUTE
Nice man, nice house, nice crown.
Absolutely gorgeous! Two questions: Why design bathroom with toilet as the view from other rooms? I'd flip the locations of the sink and toilet. Also, i didn't see a refrigerator in his kitchen. I looked closely but couldn't see it. Where is it located?
Agreed and the next house could have that. Refrigerator is left side of kitchen. Under the counter. Small but all I need for fresh groceries. 😊

If i ever wanted to be in an age gap relationship, it would be with someone like him. 60 but not obvious.
I am in one. I am 40 and my fiancé is 60 and he looks like 40.
Love the cute dogs. Love the beautiful tiny home
Beautiful tiny house. So well organized and laid out. Love the shower and also love all of the windows. The porches are a great addition.
Handsome guy and smart move.
He needs to get a washer and dryer when he redos the kitchen and the living room.
I just could not do it. I have 1100sf now and love it. But I would be ok to downsize to 800sf. Maybe 600sf. But that's just too small!
Lovely home.
Beautiful tiny house. I love the dual staircases. I wish I had built with dual staircases
This decision might inspire reflection on our own priorities and what truly brings fulfillment in our living spaces. ❤
Hola, me encanta ver tus videos de casas pequeñas. Me gustaría saber sobre comunidades pequeñas en Lake Worth Florida EE. UU. Gracias. Bendiciones!!!
Hey Rich ,beautiful build 😍.
I like your style🎉
Thanks Jenna😊!
JO JO IN VT 💞
I would definitely trust his advice; he's seen and kinda probably knows much about houses, rates and the rest.....👍
Love your Tiny Home ♥️
It's good to see more men realizing how good tiny house living can be👍!
Awesome story
Looks like a very nice spot to park your tiny!
Love your Shower👍👏❣️
I want to do this. How safe is it during a hurricane? I own a cinder block home in greater Orlando. These tiny homes have no foundation to secure it to the ground.
They are all “tied down with 6 ft deep hurricane post and straps.”
Beautiful Tiny home
Great build.
For some of us older ladies need bed down stairs near bathroom
There are several tiny homes that have downstairs bedrooms
I really like the look.
Not bad, but the TV above the door has to go. Bedrooms need a higher ceiling.
The dogs like it. It can come down to eye level.
Not digging the stairs to use the bathroom from the bedroom! Nah stumbling from a deep sleep going down those stairs,,, not!
Everybody makes choices. They don’t bother me at all.
I want one myself
Nice!
Hello there I never own any property. if you paid the rental for the land/lot each month. Do you still pay for property tax?
If u don't own your lot and pay a lot rental fee instead than it's the property owners responsibility to pay the taxes on it.
Very Cool! 🥰
Great tips no cooking must be nice
I actually do cook. Also have a great group neighbors. We all cook for each other.
Cute dogs.
reminds me of rockford files, old 70's tv show about a trailer dwelling bachelor on a budget back then. only twist, now its a doubledecker. 2 story trailer home in hurricane territory though is just asking for trouble...
This community has been through several hurricanes but it is still here! Being inland and having tie downs helps.
I love! It!!
Nice home.
Thanks👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Ha HA I could see 3 dogs on that deck.
You did see three dogs the third one belong to the videographer. Stella!!
Smart man
no stove?
I use an induction stovetop. Gas stovetop ordered.
Malaki pa yan compare sa bahay ko… ano kaya tawag sa mas maliit pa sa tiny😊
Micro 😊
Could it be rent to own?
Some can be.
Beautiful tiny house
great place
Snuff is awesome.
Y como tan guapo vive solo 😂❤
The cost of the tiny house is going up so just because of people’s greed. Think you should be able to own your own land and DIY the tiny house!
Luckily, we have stayed below market in our rental fees. Most people can’t afford a mortgage insurance, taxes, etc.. This is a great alternative with super great amenities, neighbors, etc..
Rich sells homes to rich people, but found a richness in a different way of life!
…sorry. Lol. 😂
60 is the new 40
Gosh 60 - I am getting rid of excess and going tiny 🎉
Love the house …..but couldn’t stop looking at the owner! Seriously hot 🔥 😅
nice

Really I from New Zealand 🇳🇿 I don’t know what New Zealand insurance policy for tiny home
I've not heard this before, will check into it. I think only because it's a popular living alternative.
Thanks for the information and honesty!
I worry about Florida weather & hurricane blowing those tiny homes right off their lot!
Not so in Australia. The insurance for my tiny home costs $850.00.
So expensive lot rent.
Lol I was just thinking that
@@MelissaFortune ....Do not understand why it has to be so expensive. Greed is all I can think of.

No ladies gonna be in that place, lol.
I have several lady friends and several lady neighbors. They all love the house! 😊
❤❤❤❤
Nice 😎🫡😎
🤘
❤🎉
ONLY ON TV AND IN FRONT OF HIS DONORS AND HIS CONGREGATION THAT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude you're in Florida, why in gods name would you want to be close to the death trap that is water?

But it's SO nice! 😎
We all make our choices. I love Florida and I love the water. I don’t see where there’s a death trap anywhere.😊
