As a pianist, watching this video made me so happy.. I don't know why I'm feeling this. Maybe because, as I have such pleasure to play this magnificent instrument, knowing all the affection and such care that you had to restore it.. made me proud in some way! Thank you! Your work is beautiful.. And please, send us this beautiful song that Mister Fleetwood made !!
+Marília Hanna Hello Marília, thank you for your comments on my piece! I've just received the sound file back from the production company, and I'm working on a final copy of the sheet music for "Moonlight Over The River Tay", as well as having three other movements drafted out to go with it. I will keep you posted as to when it will be available to purchase! Thanks, Joseph
+Piano Restorations Great work, exceptional piece! I hope it will be printed too... I have a 1890 Bosendorfer, 160cm tall, but I live in Greece. How could I restore it?
This is one of my favorite videos on all of RUclips. The younger guy is a little corny, but the older man was so genuine and personable. I was actually pretty distraught for a while because the name of the video was changed and I couldn’t find it any more. Glad I located it again. Fantastic job on the piano by the way, the Blüthner Jubilee is truly one of the most jaw dropping Pianos ever designed
Great! I luv Blüthner with Aliquot. Did an internship at Bechstein Berlin, enjoy my real Steinway: A Grotrian Steinweg where the name Liszt is in it - handed over by a North German noble family. I work preferably with Kawai. I dislike the policy and the sound of Steinway & Sons and admire the new ideas of Yamaha. My dream would be a Steingraeber and t play on a Fazioli.
It is so nice to see that there are still some people who love what they do !
Great craftsmanship should never become extinct...
THAT is what a Bluthner should sound like. Well done.
Great film - especially enjoyed watching it as I am the proud owner of a 1907 Steinway model 'O' beautifully restored by Piano Restorations.
