how do you dispose of dead battery's? Do you have a special storage area? How do you dispose of battery's that you deam are at risk of exploding? Is there a special place you take them? I've been wondering this stuff for a long time. It's nice to get a new video from you, im a proud subscriber!
It's funny how much I learned about phones and electronics while watching these videos. Compared to the videos trying to explain the electronics I learn more from these videos. Keep up the good work. 👍
My phone used to be water damaged- the same situation with the phone in the vid and i went to a store near me to fix it. They said they couldn’t fix and now I’m watching this video :)
So once I spilled water on my $3,000 gaming laptop and the very first thing I did is tip it on its side so all the water that got in could drain out and I immediately shut it down oh and panic and it was working fine for good month month and a half before the physical damage caused by that necessitated a motherboard replacement, I don't know why I said this but I did so yeah
It could be odd, but it happened the same way AND then after leaving it in rice for hours it came back (not a lot of water went in, but itwas black for hours). It's a 5 year old Huawei P8. The touch sensing was perfect even when it was black ("blindly" found the flashlight, unlocked the phone, called my love via shortcut). Of course everything is better with a fully working screen. Of course if it would have been done for good, I would have bought a new phone.
Turn the phone off, remove Sim card and SD if had one. Vacuum out water as much as possible, then put vacuum on exhaust port, put phone in sock and tape to hose on exhaust port. Let run for 3hrs. I watched video on this and did it exactly as I said. I'm now using my dried phone and have been for hours. It worked great. Now it could die any minute but so far so good lol. It had water in the camera. I could see the moisture but now it's gone. Hopefully it continues to work perfectly like it has.
One time I had my airpods in my pocket when I went inside a pool it was in their for a solid 2 minutes and I felt it, I ran out the water and just kept it under a towel nothing broke it still worked after
Thank you so much for letting me know this cus my iPhone 7 got water damaged yesterday and I didn’t know any tips to stop it from damaging itself so I just dried it with a couple of tissues and powered it off and on after like 5 mins
“Uhnskreu” has been stuck in my head for months now. Every time I open a jar or a bottle of soda, change a lightbulb, fix something I messed up (unscrew-up), it’s always with me. Aaaaaand I absolutely don’t mind it. ❤️
My Wii U game pad went completely under water when my old apartment flooded. My buddy was able to put a new touch screen on and it worked fine. I am actually about to play breath of the wild right now
My galaxy tab (not waterproof) was once water damaged and then it made sound, but no screen, then i slammed the corner against the table and the screen returned, no issues afterwards besides the chargin chip being damaged making it not able to initialize charging, but a workaround is for me to plug in, wait for the indicator, unplug, quickly plug back in.
me thinkin savage after reading this comment man iam facing the same issue for my iphone 13pro i used it for under water shooting and this problem occured if the display doesn't work i wont replace it either instead ill get the new 14 pro
I got the same problem, Unieuro (idk if it exists in America) it's one of the biggest phone, pc etc selling stores, they wanted 100€ and 3 months to replace my screen, never buying from them again i guess :) Btw for who's wondering about the cost i have a Xiaomi mi a 3
I have a switch that is well not really water damaged but had got residue from an icee not knowing was bothering but it still played sound so this helped me out time to get a new oled screen or a full new one
I washed my Galaxy Note 8 for 3 years straight in water, used it underwater a lot and no damage ever occurred. That's an iPhone that is supposed to be somewhat water resistant 😂
GUYS READ THIS. This happened to me when I had my old phone and I took to to a repair and they "couldn't" fix it. Don't go out and get a new one try different repair shops
I have a super water damaged Galaxy S6 but it still works, the front camera and back camera are fully fogged and if you shake the phone you can see water coming out of it! Pure magic,forgot to mention that the screen is cracked too, I dont really understand how the freak it survived to all that abuse 😂 Me and my friends dropped it in a small lake and when we pulled it out it was completely black but after plugging in the charger it showed the battery icon and then we turned it on🙃 Unfortunately i dropped ot and it cracked even worse and there are various line of the screen and some dead pixels

Is it the best idea to introduce live charge to something which is potentially holding water? Would a better idea not be to flick the mute switch and see if the phone responds?
Happened the same with me, washed my xs with soap last year and it stopped responding after an hour, and i had the dead phone with me for a year then i got it repaired when lockdown was over, damn it was a hard time without phone

What's worse than water damage? Snow damage. Ice on an LCD display damages the crystals in the display, even if the water never touches it. That's what happened to my old display.
I would use wireless charger because it worked but.. im getting a iPhone six. Because BETTER EMOJIS. My phone that I dropped in water is still working. Just water damaged. Well the charging port is. That's why.
I really hope the repair people I took my iPhone 11 to can do this 😫 because it still makes the noise when I charge it but nothing happens on the screen !

my Samsung was water damaged but luckily the screen is working but the screen has only one problem IT KEEPS CLICKING ON RANDOM STUFF NOT EVEN LETTING ME TYPE SOMETIMES
Or if the screen is on but a solid colour like green but the phone is fully responded in every other way then it’s probably just the display connector that has been damaged! :)
@@joy-to7dx It depends if there’s corrosion on the motherboard/connectors or not however if the connectors are corroded they can be replaced by a repair technician with the correct soldering equipment! :)

You didnt share the vacuum method, it works. Put phone in a sock and connect to a vacuum tip for some mins
