Hi all. Mario Aparicio here. I am their teacher!!
Ready For Geddy is from Archie Williams High School in San Anselmo, CA.
Super happy you are giving them the recognition they deserve. This was for a Performance Workshop class concert back in December.
The bass player made All Northern Honor Jazz Band and the others are a part of my award winning Archie Williams High School Jazz Band.
Have a good rest of your week and keep up the good work on Reaction Videos 👍🏽🔥🎶

I think you’re spot on… mistakes are part of live music, and it’s not really whether you make a mistake or not, it’s what you do next that counts and this band nailed it. To be fair of course it’s harsh even calling them mistakes, minor wobbles in a tough track that we all know inside and out (to listen to, most of us can’t play it!) because it’s so iconic.

Better then my 1st band but we practiced alot after we were DENIED to play Holy Diver in the HS talent show they wouldn't even let us play Rainbow in the Dark . So being POed Gen-X kids , in about a Month we were doing 3 - 35 to 40 min. sets at Local Bars and Teen clubs where we really shined and worked our Individual talents out !!!

The rhythm guitarist flubbed a couple of times, but he will get it. The lead guitarist is beyond his years. If I could give any advise it would be to get creative with his scales at a higher BPM to work on his endurance. The drummer did an amazing job with the limited equipment. Dude I JUST watched that video the other day and the first thing I thought was that this would be a great video for you to use! The drummer, bassist, and lead guitarist did really well.

Hey I'm a bassist so I'm blown away by this kid on bass but the whole band is awesome. I gotta draw attention to that rhythm guitarists. They were awesome and held down the song.

Damn, they're good ! What a cover ! To think that kids this young can play so well in front of an audience, that's great ! I hope they will keep it up !
I especially appreciated the lead guitar player, but of course they were all great. Also, I loved that genuine smile on the singer's face. You know she enjoyed every last second of the performance and that she was so happy to be there !

The difficulty of the rhythm parts in many classic Megadeth songs rivals that of a lot of guitar solos, so the rhythm guitarist definitely deserves his share of the props.

haha Kids always play way faster than they should. I watched some of my old bands videos the other day and yea we rushed the crap out of everything lol so yeah props to them for staying together even though its pretty clear the guitar player was super excited (maybe nervous) and rushing.

God I love that song.... they did great. It's awesome to see people their age into older music. There's always music playing at work and I love to ask people what band is playing.... so often I get a response along the lines of "oh that's before my time."

That feeling of knowing you just played a tight set and people were into it and it was a big crowd or a town you haven't played before. Ugh bro that feeling is amazing I hope these kids got that. Something not a lot of people get to experience. Then you have the other side where your set is shit guitars won't stay in tuned drums fall apart people.forget the set and you can't wait for it to end haha
