The fact that Gillian Jacobs was in solitude while recording her lines. No one to play off of, no animation to give her direction. And she still did so great in her role? Very very impressive.

This is a very common trope in animated shows and games, and takes great skill to be able to pull off. Good thing they casted her right
I think this fact is mostly reflective of the directing but Jacobs’ performance is fantastic

The entire voice cast did a banger job, and Gillian Jacobs is no exception. She was absolutely perfect as Eve.

Honestly, I'm down for 10000 seasons.
As much as I agree. I suspect we'll get 7, though more likely just 5, at most, considering how much ground was covered in season 1. And the fact the comic series is entirely over.
@@xynatkarn4187 Kirkman has said that he’s open to continuing after the series properly “ends,” without spoiling anything for others, there’s that pretty big time jump near the very end of the series that leaves a ton of room for new adventures. I imagine any continuation would take place in those intervening years before the very end of the comic.
I prefer if mark woke up in a dream for an alarm clock and amber didn't actually came back to him I think it would really be funny

Everything except his father
A wonderful family, a Galaxy at peace, fulfillment. I absolutely loved that ending, and nobody deserved it more than Mark. One of the greatest heroes in fiction IMO.
Gillian Jacob’s is such a good actor she did so good on communty. Also I loved her character arc in it. If found her a bit annoying in the beggining because she was a crazy anarchist who wouldn’t give jeff a chance but I ended her liking her more and more when I realized she wasn’t that crazy and was funny sometimes. And it makes sense she never (except twice) gave Jeff a chance.
I don't like binge watching but this had me hooked and and finished it in a bit over 24 hours and now I regret it. I want the experience of seeing it again for the first time or just savoring each scene to the fullest. But I will definitely re-watch it
I never heard of Invincible until Amazon and now I'm going to buy the comics. I really hope this goes for a while. 😎

I love Roger Kirkman's response to The Boys, kind words to say the least. Just makes me want to see who would win in a fight between Homelander and Omni Man
People say Omni-Man because of his tactical advantage, and say Homelander is the weakest of the Superman-dopplegangers because he couldn't lift a plane, but that's not entirely true.
I will start out by stating, Omni-man would probably win considering Homelander is not a trained fighter. However, Omni-man can be hurt fairly easily, whereas Homelander is said to take nuclear bombs without a single scratch and makes The Seven shiver in fear whenever he's around. Not to mention, Homelander is equal to a base Superman (without all that sun/god/whatever bullshit powers the writers give him at the time) and his strength would easily be equal to Omni-man, if not greater, and his durability would again be on par or greater than him.

Have you ever seen Gardens of the Night? Because of the subject matter it's a very difficult movie to watch but it's done so well. First thing I saw Jacobs in.

I saw that after I watched Community so I had a little bit of disconnect but you know an actress is good when you’ve seen them in multiple pieces of media and their characters still feel real af. For example, Angelina Jolie is just Angelina Jolie in whatever movie she’s playing but I’m still out here hoping that Leslie and Donnie reunited 😭

After watching this show and reading only 7 volumes of invicible, i can safely say that Robert Kirkman is now my comicbook writing role model. Up there with Hajime Isayama even, albeit for different reasons. I can’t wait to soon delve into the walking dead too
