Interesting videos. Personally, I prefer your initial videos with the conversational format. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the feedback, good to know. Thanks!
Pretty complicated cylinder. Definitely a patience tester. Your methods are genius. Great job.
Thanks manicmech!

The no comment video has to be the most popular on youtube.
Thank you, this a vary informative video an confident booster. Thank you
Mine leaks and I have had a kit for a couple years. I have now learned that when I remove it, I am going to have my boy run it up to you when he goes to River Falls to drink beer with his fraternity buddies at AGR. That thing is way more complicated than I thought.
ha! Sounds good!
Looks like they compressed for you. Takes a bit of coordination to get that wire in.
Yeah, ive found the hose clamp works pretty good. Haha yeah sometimes it's not as easy as it looks.
Which ring on the shaft is the small snap ring supposed to go on?
Err I can't quite think of what one your talking about. Sorry.
I've got a 1988 Case IH 685 2WD and my gottdang steering cylinder always develops a leak on the o-ring (128825) where the shaft goes to the clevis. I'm replacing that o-ring at least once every few months. It always seems to tear. I've even tried replacing the clevis thinking maybe the old clevis had a burr on it causing it to fail but no avail. Could it be the loader is adding too much pressure? I try not to statically steer when the loader has a load on it.
I'm not sure what o ring goes in that goofy design but have you tried a duro 90 o ring yet? They are a bit stiffer and are made for high pressure hydraulics...
@@IHdelight no. I've been getting these o rings from my local case dealership (at about $1.50 each) about 5 at a time. I'll have to look into those though, hopefully that'll help. Thanks!
Yeahhhhh I got to looking when I search that o ring's part number, all the online case dealerships are saying they're duro 90 rated.
