    Great video, I would not like working on all of those tractor, and even have tractors and dozer, but some body has to do it..😊😊😊

    Every calico cat that I've seen are female. I'm a firm believer in paper manuals. I have almost every Detroit Diesel manual. I think you're right on the disaster! Thanks!

    IH DELIGHT what is your trick on installing the rear main rubber stem plugs that go in the cap ?
    and where can I get a wear sleeve and seal for the rear main?

      Lots of lube for the plugs a good fitting punch inside the plugs.

    How come you get all the good jobs? Working swing shift ---- i had to follow - complete many jobs others took apart. I always called it f*** your buddy leftovers. Then it was my turn to leave day crew a unfinished job. Yahoo....let the games begin!!!!!!

    That steel wool might be the inside of an oil breather but I can’t place where it would go on a 263 right off

      @@IHdelight nice, gonna need some more deductions to cover this windfall. I’m swapping a 263 bottom end into a 460 block for a “cheap” repower. My experience has been similar

    Not saying you didn’t but I didn’t see you using assembly lube?

      Just on the cam and crank bearings. You oiled everything else while assembling.

    should have plastic gaged main berrigs..
