    In this podcast Bob and Jacci look specifically at the paranoid profile and discuss the treatment plan and current thinking behind effective cure for the paranoid presentation. Bob talks about how he works with the paranoid person and also mentions specific books which could be useful for therapists to consider when working with the paranoid personality. He also talks about how to first contact somebody who is coming from a paranoid position and how to work with them to decrease their paranoid thoughts.
    Towards the end of the podcast Jacci and Bob talk about the usefulness of paranoid traits in terms of early surviving within their own history.

    FWIW it's probably the case for some but I don't care who my T sees. Although I'm not on the high end I definitely have some traits. Now if my T would swap time slots for a different client then I'd probably feel less than at first. I know this isn't everyone but just wanted to throw that out there. Love these videos thanks for making them!

    @34:38 That's right on. It feels fake and I have stopped seeing ones because of that. I prefer what I describe as more of a dry approach. They are empathetic but not super warm.
