Here is a historical clip of me shooting my old trusty bog standard AR15 from November 2015. I miss shooting and competing with that rifle but if I took it to the range today I'd end up behind bars thanks to the Government of Canada’s May 1, 2020 prohibition by Order in Council. I can't transport, shoot or sell this semi-auto rifle thanks to the Liberal Party of Canada and their authoritarian policies.
They repeatedly paint people like me with the brush of criminals while emptying dangerous offenders from our jails and putting them back on the street. This is nothing new because Liberals have always done business like this. They unfairly apply the Criminal Justice system to lawful citizens while turning a blind eye to criminal networks.
The one thing Liberals are good at is keeping Canadians in a place of fear and insecurity. How else does a Government successfully manipulate and control its naïve citizenry?
The rifle has all Colt components built onto an STI upper and lower receiver. The 20" barrel has a 1/7 twist and even the worst quality ammo provides 3 MOA groupings at 100m. It just seems to shoot everything well - or at least - it used to.

Yes, if society must go in this direction, I've often proposed a "Man Card" that one can obtain via a one time interview and background check that will allow one to own any type of firearm, period. The man card will allow one to say anything they wish without the current repercussions of society, and it also provides for fixed prices on food and fuel, as well as the ability to obtain the various "passports" and "papers" that are required by the general public, forcing them to get either vaccinated, or sterilized, or what ever is the new thing required of them, possessors of the Man card get these documents in the mail without having to be bothered by the requirements. Why? Well because you are a man, and the government trusts that you will make the correct decision for yourself and family anyways... hence the open gun ownership, and allowance of all "papers" stemming from what ever comes in the future.. if you have the man card, you need not be forced to do anything.. and you can drive your car in the future when driving becomes prohibited for one reason or another. You are allowed to order firearm and ammo in the mail and have them come directly to your home, if you have the Man card. So in the eyes of the powers that be, all of the real Men will be out enjoying their free lives while the Gavin Newsoms and Trudeaus control the masses with their tighter and tighter restrictions and eventually public hangings for wrong-think, all of the real Men who would have stood up, will be instead out enjoying their completely free lives, having machine-gun shoots somewhere out in the wilderness living as free Men do.
Sounds like they proposed a buy back price... Be prepared to be screwed over. Albeit not surprised...
They have no plan to collect. Likely they will be extending into 2024 & beyond. You can't buy back something you never owned. It is unconstitutional as there is no demonstrable justification.
This is just one piece in a much larger game.

I don't expect to make many allies after calling someone naïve and gullible but that is exactly what Canadians have become. What kind of debate are you thinking about?
@@Riflechair A good vid might be more about Cartridges. Was thinking about starting a thread on 'that site' about the most prolific cartridge that spurred on more successful cartridges: The 30-06. And open to a debate on other cartridges that did the same, but to a lesser degree. With the current politics & costs in living, people have forgotten to enjoy the summer.

They plan on taking them all fairly soon, but currently there's a list of almost every semiautomatic gun ever imported or manufactured that is to be stolen with minimal compensation (as though compensation for theft of irreplaceable property was even possible). They also issued another edict banning all sales of handguns.
UN decrees that franchise governments remove civilian gun ownership. The seals clap.
