SCENARIO:
You want to install Windows 10 on a new SSD drive OR install a fresh copy of Windows 10 on the existing SSD drive | SSD Drive Upgrade
SCOPE:
Applicable to laptops with Intell 11th generation processors running on SSD drives.
In my case, it was HP 14-DV0607 so a very recent laptop from 2020.
In my case, it was specific to M.2 NVME SSD drive though I believe the same problem will occur for other SSD drives.
ROOT CAUSE: Windows 10 installer doesn't have drivers for Intel Rapid Storage Technology.
1) You have to download drivers from the manufacturer's site
2) Extract drivers to the USB with Windows 10 installer
3) Upon loading of the installer from USB key, select Load Drivers & point to the relevant folder when you previously extracted them
4) Click NEXT & after the process is complete, you will see your drive detected by the installed with all its partitions.

A few people in the comments asked about the direct link to the RST driver.
I'm adding it here, but bear in mind it's from a HP site so not sure if it will work with other laptops.
My advise is to always download the latest version of the driver from the laptop manufacturer's site

This is by far the easiest instruction out there to install windows on a freeDOS laptop. I have tried far and wide searching for tutorial and this is a life saver. Thank you and appreciate the simple yet informative detailed instruction.
I was able to solve my problem after a couple of hours. Thanks for taking the time to prepare a video explaining how to solve this issue :)
I couldn't say thank you enough....I spent so many hours, opened my brand new laptop and removed the SSD driver and installed a different one and nothing...THANK YOU MR.
Thank you so much!
I wasn't looking for these drivers at the manufacturer's site, now I got it! Thanks again!
Right on point! Thank you!
If HP website asks you for serial number you can check it with BIOS, if you don't have it on you - depends on BIOS, I had FreeBIOS, so I spammed F9 and checked it with F1 - System information.
You honestly are the best youtuber ever!!!!
you saved us and made our problem go away, something that other videos couldnt do.
PS: thank you
just saved me another hour of searching for a solution. I also had an HP laptop that this worked on. THANK YOU
Such a simple solution for a unknown, at least for me, problem. Who would have thought they didn't put drivers in the installer...THANK YOu SO MUCH
Thank you so much. Even works for a new ASUS X515 notebook. I'm setting up for a new customer. This way i was able to blow away the standard win 11 installation and install 10 instead.
You saved me and my friend alot of time, thank you
Thank you! Did the same with new MSI GE76 to clean install Win 10 x64 onto raid 0.
From one Tech to another, thank you very much.
Thanks man, it was very fiddly and an annoying thing by intel, but I finally managed to get it going in the end. Top man 💯💯
Thank you. Worked for my HP 17-by4000.
Thank you so much. I incountered this issue just now and you helped me solve it
It worked, Thanks so much! Been frustrated for like an hour, i thought my motherboard was faulty.
Thank you man. my HP Laptop PC 14-dq2000 working fine now.
It Worked.. Thanks Mate. The Intel Official Website Provide the Driver as well for intel Rapid Technology. I just copied & unzipped the folder, copy the folder into USB Disk.. It will recognize by Windows 10
great job plain and simple and to the point. thank you
Computers are getting worse by the day.
Actually the only video that helped with my problem. Thank you so much!
Amazingly helpful. Thank you so much. Saved my night.
Awesome! I tried almost everything the same as you but I didn't suppose I would need to specify the F6 directory. Though installer would be able to find it itself, I was wrong. Also useful information: not only zip/rar files are extractable, as we can see, also .exe ones.
Dzięki mistrzu
You have saved my day. That works for me brilliantly. Thank you very much.
I rarely leave comments but I must say that your solution solved everything! I was searching for few days 👏🏽Seriously, thank you.
TKS a Lot! That driver solved my problem here with Dell Inspiron 5510 (I7-113390H) to install W10
This doesn't show up for me, i press on the folder which i extracted it to but it doesnt seem to actually work. Using a Dell latitutde e7270
Thank you PAL, You SAVED THE DAY
Dude, I love you right now. Thank you
thank you, also if you don't find the driver on the manufacturer's site (in my case). You can go straight to intel website to download it (.zip) file. :)
And if i do that but both options give me an error?

The problem is that to boot other software like Acronis to backup the drives, there is no option to reload the SSD driver file for detection. If possible, guide me how to call the internal hard drive of such devices for all bootable programs.
Thank you so much. Spent like 4 hours trying to format and swapping back and forth brtween my desktop trying to clone the old drive. I was about pulling my hair out reading forum posts all over the place. Immediate fix right here first try. Should have youtubed it first.

I have a Dell latitude E6420 laptop. I tried to connect a mSATA SSD with WWAN slot(Physically both are same) to it. But Bios and Windows can't find it. Will it work if any drivers are installed?

ASUS LAPTOP and AMD PROCESSORS.
I started to have problems with that after install
linux on my laptop, I wasted three days to solve this
issue, none tutorial or vídeo on internet helped me,
I had to try for myself
how i solved it ?
first of all you need a computer with windows to create bootable usb,
the main problem for me was create bootable usb on linux os
1- download original iso windows 10 or 11.
2- create a bootable usb using yumi multiboot usb creator.
3- usb boot and select the iso
4 - install windows normally.
I had the same problem with an Acer Aspire A514-54. The BIOS detected the NVME disk without any problems, but after running the Windows installation there was no disk available. It only helped to download the Intel RST driver from the manufacturer's website (Acer) and load it on the installation USB drive. Thanks
Hello, I have the same device and the same problem as yours, can you help me?
