THANK YOU SO MUCH. I disabled vmd in my bios and it now recognizes my SSD! I had this problem on the zephyrus m16 (2021) with the intel core i9 13th gen for anyone else with the same issue.

I don't understand Intel's purpose of removing the file from their website, they just created a mess.
Thank you so much. Just saved me ❤
A very good tip; although I never ran into this problem before using ADATA, Kingston, Samsung, Acer SATA SSDs. Thanks for sharing.

Welcome back
After 10 hours of searching, you saved me, I’m almost crying
It worked with VMD disabled. Many thanks!
Did you reenable VMD after finishing the windows install? Same fox worked for me
Thanks for the help. I had Issues installing windows with a laptop that had Linux but, by turning off vmd in bios it finally showed the ssd.
thankyou so much mate
THANK YOU!!!
I recently watched one of your video on upgrading an acer 5 nitro. If i want to upgrade it do I have do a factory reset and then get a new windows key. Or am I good to upgrade things as is since I've been using it for a while
Thanks man ! Turning off the vmd worked
These are the driver filenames from the old website, I downloaded all the drivers to my external hard drive.

Muito obrigado amigo! Um bem haja
thank you so much I've been trying to fix this issue for over a month and nothing has helped
Dream job. Greetings from Russia. I wish you to be happy and healthy!
AWESOME! THANK YOUUUUU!!! Incredible Microsoft doesn't include the driver in the W11 install ISO. ITS 2023 and nothing.... dmm Microsoft!!!
Wow thank you. HD just went bad and installed an SSD the bios recognized but the windows setup didn't. Weird MS doesn't include that in an install.
I have an HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15-ed1000 (169X0AV) and i couldn't find find the IRST driver for my . I tried the acer model in the video but still didn't work . Is there something im doing wrong or I wont be able to use my computer with windows anymore because I formated my drive thinking something was wrong with it.
Is this for only 11th gen and up?
I have 10th gen I'm about to upgrade, just curious if I need to do this?
gigabyte usb tool made magic for this kind of driver issue, i dont know if thier link is still up and running but yeah nice tool
HI, i know that your video is not very recent but currently i have the same problem. I really Done everything as you recommended and also the other clips from youtube with the same content. I see that all of you, including the people that comment below had a really success. My problem is here: After i put the most recent driver on the USB flash (with windows 10 on) i need to press click on the stick to expand and to show me the folders from inside. The problem is that it does not expand at all and practically i cannot see the content from the USB Flash. It still give me the same text: "No signed device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers." But again does not expand when i press click. DO you know what is the problem? I think even if i don t have a driver on the USB Flash still need to let me to expand to see the folders from inside, no?
You probably resolved this by now but I had the same problem. Had to make sure I double-clicked on the flash drive when I was in the Browse For Folder menu. You can't just highlight the drive or you get that error message. When you double click on the flash drive, it expands so you can then select the correct folder with the driver in it. Thank you Dale!
Hello Boss Cadillac,
I have hp laptop, bought nmve m.2 install it and wanting to put new windows 11. I downloaded the irst from hp but still it says “no device driver were found”. Please help!!! Thanks
You could also use power shell to extract the intel exe to a zip but for me it was the raid drivers
Will these drivers work for a custom gaming pc? Just finished assembly and trying to install windows but not drivers detected
did you ever find this out? I'm currently having the same issue with my new pc I built.
If that driver doesn't work. Pick the raid driver option and turn off hide devices not compatible with your system
i need help. just did this but still drive wont show up. wont even install anything. when installing the 32bit version everything is fine but when trying 64bit wont show. board is biostar t5 xe p55 processor is i5 3rd gen. appreciate the help.
Just disable the weird "RAID" setting in the bios, I don't know why they default to that!
How do you do that?
In my case didn't need to download nothing. Just enter in BIOS and search for the letters "VMD". Desable it. Thank you
damn, so i thought this was going to help me but it did not unfortunately. I built a computer and everything just for the drivers to still not show up after doing this. The browse option shows up with the intel management, I click it and then it will say that I still could not find any drives.
It all works until it say select drive to install and it pops up with 3, 1. intel RST VMD controller 467f
2. intel rst vmd controller 9A0B
3. inter rst vmd managed controller 9A0B
but none of compatible with my computer hardware. What do i do ?
Same issue vut thr vmd controller is greyed out and cant change it + the driver didnt solve the issue , anyone got an idea what to do next
Tried with hp omen but couldn't find irst or rst(
intel issue?? i am having this issue on a pc with an amd cpu
yeah same mate, if this got fixed for you somehow please do share.
there also website that host the original zip files
still not working (device: lenovo ideapad gaming 3-15IHU6)
still no luck for me with this fix, i click on the drivre and it stops loading and doesnt give any error message or anything just loads a little bit then stops
I am having the same issue!
Me too
@@austinsmith1329 Ok I've been trying to find the video that helped me but I can't find it,
Basically from what I remember try switching your BIOS to Legacy mode or UEFI mode. It should be on either of the two right now, so just switch it to the other than try and see if your drives popup.
