It wasn't strictly "live" really. It was recorded live and broadcast with about a 2 minute delay so the on site sound and broadcast team could edit out the swearing. Also, the documentary, I can't remember what they called it but that was also on BBC if I remember correctly? It was very little of the gig itself but more about the behind the scenes of the day, the planning and the execution and also the financial office tallying up what they made that day. Pretty sure it ran into millions after fees and wages were paid out.

They actually brought Ron on for one of the inductions, forget which but they’re appreciative of all that have ever been a part of Metallica. They’re also always bringing Cliff’s parents for any kind of award for metallica too, they take care of his parents also.

I mean I know ageing happens and all that but when you watch him back on these old videos as compared to more recently, it does feel like there's more to the changes in him than can be explained by him just getting older. I know he always had it in him to get a bit sloppy but in recent years it's sometimes seemed like he's literally playing his own separate gig. Just MHO only.
