Hi Edmund, Great video as i see is the best one out there. I bought a zettle reader last year 2023 when pay pal changed to zettle. I used to do lots of shows with my product but haven't since last year. Although i have the app in my cell. But for phone orders i always keyed in the card # or though pay pal request money. Today i thought i would try and see if the card reader worked. Couldn't get the cell to work with it, so i down loaded the app on my ipad, had different issues with it as well. Was thinking the reader was bad. But kept messing with it. Got both to work., on the ipad i tried 25cents to charge on my card but found out you have to charge $1.00 or more, that worked. On my cell, even though bluetooth was on i had to go in to settings scroll down til i saw zettle, There was another bluetooth button for it. All good now on both. I must of watched your video a hundred times tiring to see what i was doing wrong. LOL. . it was driving me crazy. Thank you.

Hi Edmund. Thanks for the video as there seems to just this one for the Zettle as opposed the Izettle which is for I phone and the layout in the menus is different. Did you happen to do a part three to this? Thank you

I'm stuck on "Welcome!" Did you ever get past the "welcome!" stage ? Hoping the delay is due to some charging or updating issue. The interface is not very informative. Feels like 1987.

A family member already have theirs, i have an event coming up, could i potentially use my family members zettle reader whilst logged into my zettle app on my phone and just pair the device? Then unpair after used.. totally understand if you don't know the answer to this question. Wasnt sure if each card reader is specifically for one account or can be unpaired/paired to different phones etc.
Hi LifeOfJamesy, I am not sure this will work. This may be easy or not possible. If you can not locate a definitive answer to this question I would NOT attempt....using the phrase 'if in doubt, do not do it' might be the best course of action if you can not locate a clear answer. Unpairing from one phone might open a can of worms that would be difficult to resolve and could create an issue for your family member's account and your new account. When problems and issues occur nowadays getting through to customer service can be such a challenge.. Sorry I can not be more helpful on this. Thanks for viewing and your question. Regards, Edmund
I believe you can...I'm about to find out as the friend that I first purchased the device for is coming over to pick it up. I already paired it to my iPhone app. I believe you can only pair to one account at a time but the device is NOT account exclusive.

You do not have to have the reader but to manually enter it in it will cost more

Cheaper transaction costs are always better with card present and contactless payments compared to manually entered payments.
