I searched through a lot of videos and yours was the only one that showed and explained the dock. I can not thank you enough for this video! It answered all the questions I was curious about. This video should be pinned to the Zettle site! The info they have on there products are useless!

Couple questions if you've had a look...
I'm wondering if this Terminal is suitable for a 'service environment' with, for example, a prompt on-screen for customers to add a tip? Thinking specifically of maybe streetfood/pavement cafe or a driver service/airport transfer kind of business?
Are there any options for customising the home screen with a business logo?
What's the quality of the print like on the receipts? Can it handle a decent business logo? Do they have any features for adding in vouchers or offers tagged onto the receipts?
It seems like all those things - perhaps modular templates for different business types to really tailor the unit to specific vusiness models would make this a killer platform for mobile POS, but without them it would literally be a glorified phone app with integrated payment key pad, which is a shamefully missed opportunity IMO.
Also what are the power off and start up times like?
The standard Reader 2 is a pretty quick boot, and I'm totally up for the professional sleeks and the looks of this unit but if I'm waiting for like a 2013 Android phone to boot up in order to use it occassionally and not be charging and draining it forever, it's gotta be quick-on...

So, it doesn't look like the terminal is getting changed in the printer dock. I'm actually having the same issue. Zettle sent me a replacement printer dock, but the issue doesn't get resolved. Does anyone have a solution? The printer dock recognized the terminal and I can test print a receipt.
Does the printer gets its own power from the terminal ?
Hi there, hope someone can help me out. I'm new to zettle (used to use with PayPal here) can I buy a pre-used zettle machine? Or does it have to be new? Also with regards to the receipt what exactly does it show? Because ive got a chip shop and im would like to know what info the receipt would contain. Ive had issues with people asking for charge backs. Also, if i choose a the standard 'card reader' like paypal here, what printers would work with zettle? So sorry for all these questions. Im reading some of your comments too, how much would you charge? Thank you 🙏
Question: Does the POS turn off automatically (after 10 minutes) when on charge on the dock

With the option to pay with cash, does that log a cash payment into the daily report?
Yes, reports include cash and card
Does it only print while docked or can it do it wireless?
Only prints when in direct contact with the reader
Looks pretty slow on some functions, which is a bit disappointing, but I guess software updates in future will make it decent.
I can’t say I’ve noticed it being particularly slow
Are their any cheaper printers other than the STAR SM-L200 that would work with Zettle/PayPal here Apps?
I usually provide a Star Micronics MC3 Print or the TSP USB or LAN printers if in a hospitality environment. The printer dock works well with the Zettle Terminal but isn't very fast if you have customers queuing.
I’m so annoyed that I bought one from PayPal and the darned thing doesn’t give you the name of the customer, only the card number. Very limited value to that. I would never have bought it if I’d k own that and PayPal has no interest in fixing this issue I’ve written and called them to no avail, as have others.
I liked for this online and I can’t find it?? Did they stop selling this?
