Damn seeing a black metal guy breaking down elitist barriers deserves an audience,love the positive vibes wish I saw this more often Metal is a wonderfully diverse place for genres I’m not usually a fan of the blackened deathcore trend most bands cannot strike a proper balance and doesn’t really capture the black metal feeling,would love to see a reaction of the new mental cruelty track ultima hypocrita or a hill to die upon I feel like it was a nice blend this time around.much love
This song has a mixture of sinister beauty and brutality. The slight parts of the electronic synths in the music isn't too overpowering, but it blends in perfectly with the orchestral elements, and the blackened deathcore parts together. Pretty much my favorite LS song of this year. Hope to hear your new music in the future when it comes out.

Each song in this EP is great in their own way.. they somehow do not overshadow each other.. they have their own uniqueness that separates them from one another, unlike many other bands that try the same thing over and over. I love all of these 3 songs in this EP, but my favorite is Of The Abyss, for sure.

Is there any chance you could check out the Swiss atmospheric black metal band, Aara? They are definitely one of the most unique sounding black metal bands out there in terms of songwriting and soundscape. I highly recommend checking out Nimmermehr or Das Wunder. Stein auf Stein is also great too.
I hear some hardcore Emperor influences in Lorna Shore lately....which is great because I love Emperor. When I'm listening to newer heavy music these days, deathcore bands are doing some of the most innovative stuff out there. Will Ramos is a crazy vocalist btw.
Strange but I like these band. Brutal and atmospheric band...good quality of sound and musicians are professionals. They understand what they want...that's why Lorna looks different from another deathcore bands.

If you haven't heard Ovid's Withering yet, you should definitely do it ASAP. Better start with their debut 2013 album. Great fuse of progressive metal blackened deathcore. Give 'em a try, hope you won't be disappointed.

Maaaaaan, yes. Lot of people are really changing the landscape of some subgenres and it's mostly for the good. If you'd told me 10 years ago I'd be listening to deathcore I would've laughed.
I loved deathcore when it very first hit because it was so heavy and different than anything I'd heard before. But, it did get old very quickly. Once bands started actually adding in more and more elements from other extreme metal genres I started to like it again. BUT... it still felt like it wasn't enough and started to get stale again. Until I heard Shadow of Intent. They blew me away. But THEN... I heard Lorna Shore's latest stuff and they've revived my love again. Blackened Symphonic Deathcore is fucking amazing when done right, and these guys do it right. Dude, I laughed my ass off when you were poking fun at most black metal singers. That shit is so true. The purposefully terrible sound quality and the vocalists are what always made me dislike the genre even though I could always hear really cool shit in some of it. I just always wished I could hear it with better sound quality and with better vocalists.
