Thanks for sharing. I needed this can relate to a lot of what you talked about. Feeling defeated, sad and just asking God is this what I'm supposed to be doing. I ended up applying to a MS program in Health Informatics about to graduate next month with a 3.83 GPA. I am a certified Medical Assistant did that for almost 2 yrs in Mental Health. I have done HHA over 6 yrs was a caregiver have volunteered in hospice for like 4 yrs and have been doing this dance for a long time. Just needed some encouragement.
Congratulations!!!!!!!! I’m a histology technician and when you said you got a letter from your histology professor i replayed it like 5x because literally no one talks about that subject or field. Lol im also wanting to be a PA and applying now so that was my sign. Thank you for your obedience
Oh cool! Full transparency, although I enjoyed prepping the slides, I absolutely hate having to identify samples. lol I'm not sure what it is, but it gives me the worse anxiety. I pray that all works out for you this application cycle! :) Thank you so much for watching.
Omg I am literally the same way. I was diagnosed with adult adhd and it affected me all throughout college. I am graduating with my Health Science degree in Dec and starting my journey to PA school. I love your videos btw !!
I really love this! I first watched your video on how God blessed you with a house at 26 as I was looking for inspiration because I am too wanting a house. Something told me to subscribe to you because from that video I seen a lot of similarities within myself in you. Then, I seen this video because I am too looking to go into PA school. I then learned in this video that you have a Bachelors degree in Psychology which I do too! I don’t have any patient care experience so my goal is to do an accelerated BSN program and get a CNA certification in the mean time then get into PA school. It’ll give me time to prepare. You definitely just gave me some inspiration!❤ and best of luck on your journey!🎉
Jeez you’re beautiful! 😮 anyways, I’m so glad to come across this video. I’m neurodivergent as well and it’s nice to see someone in the position I’m working towards because it really does take so much more effort, energy and focus for people like us. Congratulations and you got this ❤
I am a mom of one. I been looking into the PA field. My passion is to work in the cardiology area. The main for that is that my mom died of CHF . I had to take come classes over because my bachelors degree is in the quarter not the semester.
Hey. I loved this video. Could you say more on different ways of learning? I think they call it neurodivergence? I find that Im more visual in my learning. Like if I have a whiteboard and marker I can excel in a lot of the sciences I just draw everything out and retain the information lol
Hey, thanks so much for watching!! Yeah, that is actually exactly the same way that I have to study. My expo markers and whiteboard are my very best friends! lol I talked about this briefly in a few of my videos (linked below) but I am planning to do a more detailed video very soon. ruclips.net/video/Ir8fRL8C8Fw/видео.htmlsi=NQ4n8Ba2B6rH3XMs ruclips.net/video/IdHp3Z08K18/видео.htmlsi=YUI2ZwPKUL_zZOQD
I have a low GPA right now.. I'm seriously stressed out about it to be honest. and I'm seriously considering a masters program in Biomedical Sciences and completing that before applying to PA schools. Do you recommend completing a masters degree to strengthen GPA? Thanks
Can you share about your personal statement. I've been through a long hard road and want to share that story with pride and not shame. And just share it in a great way.
