Spain won its record fourth European soccer championship, getting an 86th-minute goal from Mikel Oyarzabal to beat England in the Euro 2024 final on Sunday in Berlin.
Spain won all seven games it played at Euro 2024, being crowned champions to cap one of the most dominant international tournament performances in history.
"I couldn't be happier. To see the fans, to see the players," Spain manager Luis de la Fuente said. "For me, they are the best in the world and today I confirm that definition."
Nico Williams provided the first goal for Spain, scoring less than two minutes into the second half after a scoreless opening 45. Spain looked the better team throughout the match, but England’s Cole Palmer scored the tying goal in the 73rd minute.
Its not that England is cursed
Its that Spain is blessed.
No spanish team loses an international final SINCE 2001 ... 23 years (27 finals were played( ❤❤❤

Epic jersey ! Camiseta de las míticas de la selección !
it's the only one that the wardrobe dept. could find!
To be completely fair, England shouldn’t have lost in the final because they shouldn’t have been there to begin with 😂
They shouldn’t have been anywhere past the round of 16. Slovakia, Switzerland and The Netherlands were definitely better than them this tournament and were all so robbed. Hell, even Georgia, the lowest ranked team to ever qualify for the euros, and Ukraine, who finished last in their group, clearly played a more impressive tournament than England. The most frustrating part for me was that Switzerland had their best chance to make their first ever semifinals in a major tournament and played such an impressive game against Italy in the round of 16…
I’m glad the best team in the tournament ended up winning it all though.
robbed how?
Best team won🇪🇸
I knew Spain would beat England in the Final.Spain is a better Team in
every aspect.England did not know if they were coming or going. They
looked lost.
To beat your rival, the Manager must know everything about the rival.
He can then put his best Team forward, with the appropriate defence
and attack. There are other things to consider as well. If,I was Manager,
I would leave no stone unturned.
the final was Spain vs Germany and that was won too. I have no clue what englad was doing in the final, I guess even a broken watch is right twice a day.
English people always think England teams are far better than they really are.
english fans and media are the most toxic fans and media in the soccer world
Well england are better than all europe bar spain so we are not shit
@@jasonfearnley1744return to your last eurocup
Having lived in England in my twenties... I think their Faith is remarkable.
PS. (From a Spaniard).
They had a wonderful team.
Imho Coach failed (thanks a lot señor Southgate)
That's not true...England was very very lucky to reach the final. They had an easy path...the true final was Germany vs Spain, in the quarter finals. @@jasonfearnley1744
🇪🇸🌹👍💯👏👏👏👏 spain is diferent❤
Que satisfacción vencer a los ingleses una vez mas 😅
Haha❤ Spain saved football ⚽
Soccer is a sport played 11 against 11 and England always loses.
do they?
Just R Madrid has more international trophies than engish clubs together 😂😂 ❤ xx from the Kings of this sport
its called Football
mcmannaman legend
Naaa TREMENDA CAMISETA.
This England team reminds me of that quote about Wagner: "He has some beautiful moments... but some dreadful quarters of an hour!"
If England had won the final they, in justice, would have had to refuse the trophy because they did not deserve it. I mean after having trouble getting past football powerhouses like Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Denmark and Switzerland, what trophy are you entitled to aspire to? Tallest fella among the Lilliputians perhaps? Surely not the Euro. Spain's tremendous performance is surely a case of the perfect storm where everything went well, I doubt they'll repeat it at the World Cup.
Im a spanish girl , and totally agree
The Spanish players are young, they can only improve, so I don’t think it was a perfect storm but a growing storm
@@rramirez65 I very much hope you're right. I meant perfect storm as far as winning it all and playing so well, there's no doubt that they will compete, but winning is never guaranteed, a lot can happen.
@@doppeltkohlensaures I agree on "a lot can happen" part, injuries come to mind. The thing is, I follow Barcelona grassroots team, and the generation that's to come...is INSANE.
Teams have plenty of silverware they never deserved. Look at the 2023/24 UCL. 😂
The bias comes from the league. English think their players are the best because they play in PL, while they dont know most players in other leagues. The reality is that in Europe, spanish and german teams are usually competitive. PL has lots of money, but the football concept revolves about running like a chicken without head, while spanish players are usually technically gifted or germans are quite cohesive with good shot.
Ffs, english thought that torres was good because he was fast, and that Fabregas or Cazorla were the best, while benching for the likes of iniesta, xavi, alonso, or Silva.
Just because english watch only PL doesnt mean that the other leagues have no level, and just because a player is not fast it doesnt mean he is no good
Imagine calling someone a loser and misspelling it 'looser'
😂 What a loser
"Loosers" everywhere.
Viva España jajaja
For me Eng had chance they not utilised when it matters but Spain
The Limey media is responsible for England's failures. All the pressure they apply is way too much for English players.
Esto lo hace Messi y estamos hablando un mes de ello.

If you were a nerd, you would know that it’s loser, not looser.
True that 😂😂😂
Why the three lions on the shirt? Shouldn't it be three cats?
You do realize they are all in the same feline family tree right? If you were trying to be funny you should have picked a different animal species.
@@marcom6089 Maybe not three cats, but three rats. Is that still too close?
@@Gladiator1492 I’ll take the rats for them. 😂
@@marcom6089 You'll never learn the pecking order. Spain 4 - England 0 eurocups. Is that so difficult to understand?
Traditiinaly Spain has one rampant lion on their crest, England 3 passing lions
"Southgate, hes done so well..." and right there is the problem, he hasn't done a thing well but people still thinks he has xD
how would you know?
Southgate wasn't a 'culprit', real culprit wasn't even Kane, but captaincy of Kane. Captain must hav been someone like Saka 😊
