- For over 30 years, tech transfer projects have been a way of life for the DyHold management team. Acquired from the Department of Energy and new for 2011, we are proud to introduce the Dynamic Global RDSS or Rapid Deployment Shelter System. Designed and manufactured as a compact, highly portable system that can be fully deployed by ONE person in less than two minutes. The RDSS is an advanced concept rigid-wall shelter technology that requires less time and manpower to deploy than any other rigid-wall shelter on the market.
With the touch of a button, the RDSS unfolds from a 20 foot, International Standards Organization, or ISO, shipping container into a four hundred square foot shelter. RDSS is equipped with an on-board generator, and heating and air conditioning systems that can provide up to 72 hours of continuous operation, without refueling, within minutes of delivery. In addition, seamless transition from on-board generator to off board power and support requires only the flip of a switch once local power is restored.
Domestically and globally, currently fielded shelter systems present a financial and logistics nightmare. Most rigid-walled shelters are labor and time intensive, requiring three to ten people and nearly 40 minutes to set up. Experience has shown that travel trailers and mobile homes are cumbersome and simply not designed for transport into disaster areas. Unlike travel trailers, the Dynamic Global RDSS has been engineered specifically for critical area operations and environments. The system is designed for quick and simple deployment and ready to occupy and use within minutes. When the mission is complete, RDSS quickly returns to its ISO container configuration, ready for transport back to its depot. Designed with refurbishment in mind, RDSS is easily and quickly cleaned, sanitized and re-equipped for the next assignment.
In its closed, shipping configuration, the Dynamic Global RDSS provides over 400 cubic feet of mission payload storage space. All equipment and supplies needed for a planned deployment are securely stored inside the container, ready for operation. With input from emergency management and first responders, the RDSS was designed to be reconfigured for a variety of applications including first responder or family shelters, barracks, command/control/ communications centers and medical triage facilities, to name a few. In short, the Dynamic Global RDSS will fit any application requiring a mobile, configurable, rapidly deployable, rigid-wall shelter. Capitalizing on the rugged ISO 1C container design, RDSS units may be stacked nine high, transported by ship, truck or rail, or deployed to remote locations by plane or helicopter. Single units can be transported and directly deployed from conventional type trailers, towed behind medium duty pickup trucks.
Designed to military and FEMA shelter specifications, the RDSS has been specifically developed to meet the needs of disaster response teams, with explicit consideration given to ease of use, ease of storage, and reuse. It is designed to provide years of service at a significantly lower total cost of ownership when compared to alternative options.
The Dynamic Global RDSS is the logical, best value choice to meet all manner of shelter needs.

super cool!
Brill bit of work that.
EVERY ONE IN THE UNITED STATES THAT IS HOME LESS SHOULD HAVE ONE OF THESE !!!....
good job
Just a GLIMPSE at the hydraulics, electronics and duty equipment, not to mention quality of construction indicate BIG money ! Probably 6 figures plus for each - depending on customization !
Классно!

Army General: "OOOooo it Folds! ill take 10,000 units please"
I have never seen anything like this and am impressed by the engineering. I have a number of questions...first...when you run out of power, or have none, what powers this bad boy? Does it work with electric generators? You know, gas powered electric generators?
Well, considering that most houses are little more than a box with ac and electric. They add lots of amenities to try and get you to pay more and more, but as a former appraiser I can tell you that stripped of drywall and fixtures, almost all houses are just boxes, Vs, or circles of concrete and wood.
I'm sure this is a very expensive unit. Other commenters have speculated that the cost would be 100 grand or more. I can see private or commercial industry uses for this unit. I could be used as a mobile job site office and storage combination. Say an electrical company working on a large project that needed a place to store tools and materials and have an office space. Many companies already utilize a type of this unit via the GE Mobile trailers or Mobile Mini trailers. The problem with these trailers is that they are only 8 feet wide and anywhere from 10 to 40 feet in length. The slim design makes it difficult to add shelving for tools and materials and still have room to move equipment and personnel in and out. I work from these job site trailers often and its something I dread. This unit could be delivered to a job site and easily set up. Tools and materials could ride in the center and you would still have 16 or so feet for office personnel or a break area out of the weather. This would also be great where you would use an RV for an extended vacation. You could transport this just about anywhere you could drag an RV and have a nice getaway with plenty of room for the kids. First Responders could utilize a unit like this for disaster relief like the recent floods in Louisiana, the wild fires in the West or hurricanes. We already utilize something if this nature, this just looks like a better alternative, its compact and easy to deploy by a novice. Although a 100 grand price tag makes it out of reach for an individual. A lower priced model could be made using less expensive materials and non-automated function. I have an RV and I will have to replace the floors in the near future because it's rotted out. I'm looking into replacing the floors with a material made from recycled plastics that will not rot and it will use materials bound for a landfill that will not return to its elemental state for 100's or 100's of years. The problem with recycling or alternative building materials manufactured by companies is that the price is usually out of reach. I just don't see why recycled materials have to be more expensive than new materials.
I can't imagine who would actually use this. You certainly wouldn't want to take it to any kind of remote location. And you definitely wouldn't want to take it to a location with harsh weather. I mean, if the mechanical parts broke you would be stuck without a shelter until they could fly in technicians and tools, etc. Or, if it broke after deployment you wouldn't be able to leave with it until it got fixed.
I was deployed a bit while in the military. You would never want something like this. You would want something like a tent for short deployments. Or, cheap trailers for longer periods.
+101perspective sure you would you know that anything that is military grad and mechanical always has a manual backup one would think this would as well.

Outstanding. How much .
I hope someone is working on getting these out to Hati
do they make a 40 foot long version?
good well
Very cool and innovative. Would definitely serve the purpose as explained, first responders ect.. Some really STUPID comments that with the slightest common sense could figure the things out. 1. I am sure there is a manual process to engage the opening in an emergency. 2. Automatic/battery/electrical hydraulics have been available on Recreational trailers and 5th wheels since the late 1980's (that I am aware of) which would be used to level the shelters out on uneven ground. I had battery powered automatic hydraulics on my 40 ft 5th wheel and a manual crank Just in case. Use some brain power!!
What's the price point on a basic model? Thanks! Great product.
$100,000+ , thats a lot of shipping containers
Me interesa comprar una para 6 personas
Excelente
for just $ 80.000 you can have one!
I bet it's more than that
real-life command and conquer buildings...
The CERT Community Emergency Response Team is a Volunteer Group has many units working along with FEMA and State and Local Gov.s in times of Stress / Crisis that is over looked but we ARE the Boots on the grounds before GOV decide to send in their personal in How will it work Hurricane comes in and you get a call of us and ... OR we per paid for a seven day rental for an deployment for our area ?
I bet they leak at the wall joints. There too many moving parts to ensure 100 percent waterproofing
3:03 a wtc lower building
Me Like......!!
@Volks- this is not a Recreational Vehicle, think and understand before u comment..
So all you get is a shell with nothing in it ?
From Google Search (4/7/2016):
"Dynamic Global is no longer in business
For information on accessing your prior and ongoing accounts, please contact your former account representative."
How come they have no windows?
how much do they cost each?
weight?
Only a shelter, the stuff inside must be transported separately.
Yeah but does it hover a mile over the earth using solar power? OR does it float on water and travel on water? If not, then FAIL.
how do you get it off the trailer?
*****
than how is it stable?
*****
yes but he also said that it can survive harsh conditions
I watched the video. It shows it being transported via trailer but all the deployed scenes showed it being at ground level. I too want to know how is it offloaded and onloaded onto the trailer, train flatbed, etc. It may be tilted and cabled off and on like many containers used for civilian use are but it should be shown and explained.
***** Boy are you the brightest bulb around. All the pictures show the unit sitting almost flush with the ground except one picture at 3:23 and we as viewers are supposed to magically realize that that is the one picture we should pay attention to and all the other pictures have been video edited. Go shove it up your nose.
could not find a price anywhere it would be great for those large family and friend get together at a state park or camp ground or race track how about a price buddy
I like it, but I know its way above my means.
really good for cold weather, but under a burning sun, let's say 36/40C you will incinerate inside this thing...
imtv it said it had a generator and an air conditioner built in to work off grid
babyboombuster Well, in this case it looks pretty good!
You can buy a 20ft shipping container for $900 bucks. All said and done you could build this for 15 to 20 grand. that a lot less then the $100,000 they think they can get out of this over prices thing!! But knowing our wasteful government they will waist our money on this!!!!
+Serge Smith 100 grand is way to high but 20k is way to low. Im thinking 40 to 50k because it would have to be mil spec.
Como saber o preço
So you could butt-dial and close the people up in there? cool
3000$ is good price to buy something like that .... or ..... try find something cheap
how much is it
is this available in minecraft?
do not leave computers inside when folding will cause them all to be crushed!
how much...
IS IT BOMB PROOF
0:24 * Model, not included. Seems over engineered, they should make a LiteWeight version, assembled quickly by soldier power - for low cost, rapid deployment by National Guard, Emergency response, etc. Add a generator and NBC air filtration air conditioner, and you're good to go.
Hi , I’m trying to contact you since long time , I sent several email , inquiries throw your website , fax , I also send to your Facebook page and called all your phone number
I do not know if that bad luck or something wrong in your system .
please let me know how we can contact you .
We are very interesting in your product .
+rania faisal Galal I understand your frustration. Perhaps this company specializes in shelter systems, not public relations, or communications.
+Hunter Mann thank you , now we manufacture our caravan

this is nothing new! the military had these for food service while in the field. They were tractor trailers and took only minutes for 2 people to deploy.
They make it sound like all you need is an empty room, once the sides are open you still need to set up your equipment for use as an aid station, food prep, or command center.
deploy in 2 min, why so fast? expecting an attack? hmm?
thumb down. what is potential of that?
A BIG BOX FILLED WITH "STUFF" IS FAR LESS USEFUL THAN AN R.V.-TYPE SHELTER WELL-STOCKED AND OUTFITTED WITH LOTS OF STORAGE SPACE. THIS CONTRAPTION IS A HUGE WASTE OF MONEY. IT PURPORTS TO BE A SHELTER, BUT IT LACKS BASIC NECESSITIES.

$300k .... Dynamic Global company out of biz
And for only $120,000.00 you too can have one... LOL
Yeah those stupid RVs have bathrooms, kitchens & beds, who needs that stuff.
or you could just make like the Yogscast and diggy diggy hole.
sanitized? after a domestic interrogation no doubt....
To the occupation of the oil-rich countries !!!
