Fun but gross period hack: did you stain your underwear? Wipe up excess blood then use your own spit to break down your own blood. It's gross but I saved a very expensive white dress using this science. However your spit won't work on anyone else's blood.

Solution for everything: menstrual cup. No leaks, reusable, can be emptied 2-4 times a day only, no need to buy any period products atleast for the next 4-5 years, comfortable, good for the environment, easy to clean... I'll never go back to other products!

Throw them in the wash and you've got a clean pair of panties! *This does work best for newer stains, but dulls older ones so they're not so noticeable*
Joanna Halbert I use stick on heat pads for school and if I'm going out anywhere for a long time or just overnight! You just stick it on your stomache and it heats up in 30 mins and stay hot for 8 hours! If you have that and some ibuprofen your cramps feel much less painful!

Hi, I'm in my mid thirties and I found this video after watching your Bra hacks one. I just wanted to say that I thought it was great that both of you were so open and honest about the realities of dealing with your period. And hearing your first time stories was amazing. I'm sure there are plenty of young girls out there who are going to get a lot out of this. I ALWAYS double my underwear when I'm on my period. I feel sooooo secure. As i wear pads...during the day my underwear get a little "loose" and on top of it there is my LOADED pad lol. so i double it. it secures my pad and the underwear in which my pad is sticking to doesn't move around or loosen. so Big thumbs up to doubling your underwears.

My periods are very irregular so I can get the every 2-3 months or once every 9 months, but since it’s so far apart when it drops I’m super moody, always crying and I’m so much pain. I invested in a heating pad and some ibuprofen, so if the pain doesn’t go away with the pad I then take the pill since I’m not to much of a fan of taking pills for pain

Hi, I'm in my mid thirties and I found this video after watching your Bra hacks one. I just wanted to say that I thought it was great that both of you were so open and honest about the realities of dealing with your period. And hearing your first time stories was amazing. I'm sure there are plenty of young girls out there who are going to get a lot out of this. It was also great to see you doing so many options with pads, as a lot of post like this focus on tampons, and I personally have never really been comfortable with tampons just for personal reasons.

I ALWAYS double my underwear when I'm on my period. I feel sooooo secure. As i wear pads...during the day my underwear get a little "loose" and on top of it there is my LOADED pad lol. so i double it. it secures my pad and the underwear in which my pad is sticking to doesn't move around or loosen. so Big thumbs up to doubling your underwears.
i haven't started but i bring extra dark colored shorts and undies just in case❤

Veronica Cam neither did mine.didnt get the sex talk either. im just smart and a "goodgirl" so i guess they figured i knew better. lol.and they were correct. i still thought it was weird tho that they never talked to me about it.i grew up dreading the conversation that never came lol.
im not close with my real mom(pretty much neglected me) so my Hispanic step mom gave me the talk when it started(I was so down and pretty much thought that my child because i found out this thing comes every month) and my american dad did bits and pieces on the sex stuff. I was too shy to ask about stuff, plus info about things like tampons were outdated(step mom told me its a bad idea to wear them as a virgin)

LOL i remember one night I was in fifth grade and I went to pee right before bed and I was like "why is my pee red" and just denied that it was period even tho I knew it was😹😹 didnt tell my mom and went to school the next day and bled everywhere and had to go see my friend's mom who was a teacher and get help. I was the first of m friends to get it so that was kind of hard and I remember feeling really embarrassed about it, but now I realise literally no one would be alive if we didn't have periods and I'm not embarrassed anymore :) Im almost 21 now can't believe that was 10 years ago!!

My periods are very irregular so I can get the every 2-3 months or once every 9 months, but since it’s so far apart when it drops I’m super moody, always crying and I’m so much pain. I invested in a heating pad and some ibuprofen, so if the pain doesn’t go away with the pad I then take the pill since I’m not to much of a fan of taking pills for pain
What about menstrual cups and cloth pads? Those are totally options.

Once,my mom was out of station and I got my period,but I realized I didn't have pads left.I couldn't go to the store because I was only 12 and I had to get the pads somehow.

+Sara Bell I was anemic was awhile from low iron levels. Maybe check with your doctor? I also find a lot of energy after exercising!
