This is what introduced me to the Grumps. It was a boring night of Summer and RUclips randomly recommends me the "Kissing your dad" episode. I start watching and immediately crack up laughing which continued for the WHOLE episode. A few episodes later I started getting hooked and in a few months I had watched every new upload since then and caught up with most uploads before. Thank you Grumps, you made me a truth-seeker.

I hadn't played LOZ since I was a kid and thought I should watch a walkthrough before I played it again. That was 2015. I stumbled across the Grumps walkthrough, and I am still falling down their Dad-kissing rabbit hole today.
P.S. I'm not a gamer, like AT ALL. I just love improv comedy.
Their Barbie bit still makes me cry laugh every time, it’s uncanny how well two grow men understand how little girls play with their dolls

The Barbie Dreamhouse bit is one of the best lessons in improvisational "Yes, and'ing" I've ever seen.
I love how you can tell if it’s Arin or Dan’s POV based on whether they’re moving around getting dirt or standing in one spot spraying an already clean ground
The ringworm story is especially funny because ringworm is not an intestinal parasite - it's a skin fungus (the name is very misleading). They may have misspoke and meant roundworm, or pinworm, threadworm, tapeworm, etc. but ringworm is the only one of those which is not responsible for GI problems.
The original story was about pinworms.

Weed literally cannot do this to you. Its not the weeds fault its whoever had him smoke alot of the good shit right off the bat, and if I remember correctly Ross was the one who did it with him originally for the first time no wonder Arnold freaked the fuck out. If he was to do it with Dan I am 100000% sure he would of done better and had a way better time, even if he didnt ultimately like it afterwards.
The truth is Arin should of never smoked in the first place, he doesn't have the mentality and persona that needs weed at all and getting him to smoke too much of the good stuff without any easing into it was what caused the episode he had. The 6 months of depression afterwards had zero to do with weed and just Arin being fucking weird and being overwhelmed by everything else. He is a business owner in a volatile market that does not guarantee success, 99% of the stress is from that not weed, thats stupid talk.

The dad kissing/truth seeker bit and the Barbie and Ken argument were the best moments of this playthrough

One thing I really like about this video is how Ali becomes increasingly involved. At first you only hear Arin & Dan, then you start hearing Ali laughing in the other room, then she’s an active participant by the end
This was one of my favorite GG series, since I watched it when I either had Covid for the second time or a HORRID flu.
I miss occasionally hearing Allie dying of laughter in the background.
The dad bit is king but Dan singing the Food Emporium jingle and then immediately saying that it sucks never fails to kill.
Speaking of podcasts, I watch more than half of all game grumpa episodes with my phone screen off. The stories they tell can be more fun than gameplay sometimes.

The best part of the entire playthrough was Dan finding out you can push tab to highlight the dirt 3 levels into the game.

English Muffins are branded as having nooks and crannies. Book nooks or other such named nooks imply this is a cubbie or blank space of some kind. Therefore I posit that nooks are the divot holes and crannies are the craggy peaks of an Enlgish Muffin.

considering the countless times i've fallen asleep to the longplay compilation of this, yes. its the best white noise to fall asleep to. The powerwash sounds are a nice constant to the funnies that are sprinkled in
