Remembering about the albums "The Virus Conspires"and the EP "Decade of Decimation" i'm really let down by this single, please someone change metal-archives from "Thrash Metal" to "somecore" weirdness :D another one down the drain, together with Ultra-Violence and Lost Society

The first example I can think of when it comes to newer thrash bands abandoning their style would be Essence. By their third album they were a hard rock/heavy metal band and this was back in 2015 well before Lost Society, Ultra-Violence, and the likes.

Why does another very good thrash metal band decide to take such a hard turn in their career? This song is obviously good, don't get me wrong. But, come on guys, why completely break with your past? I don't get it, but good luck with this new venture.
