Great review. I used the MoveLink II to provide the director on a film set with sound from my recorder. The receiver has a headphone socket which was ideal for this. There is also no latency on the signal.

Great review Shane! The Godox MoveLink II M2 works very well at that price point.

Nice work. The only issue I see as I see with others is the lack of internal recording for backup. Rode has it but most do not. Not sure why this feature is left out from these companies. I appreciate the review. Great job as always!

Maybe. But the Rode is not much more for the security of non interference sound. I actually like Deity but they run into the same issue. I am glad DJI stepped up. Blessings.

7RYMS iRay DW30 does internal recording too

Thanks for the review, Shane. Wish it had internal backup recording, although the lack of dropouts while you were walking away was pretty darn impressive. I wonder if these Godox units (or the Saramonic units) have the interference problem where you are using both transmitters, it will cause one of them to (occasionally / sporadically) drop transmission (The Rode Wireless Go II have this problem, according to Chris and Jordan). As for the dynamic Noise Reduction on the Godox unites, judging by your example, I would say I am NOT a fan. However, I actually PREFER a SMALL bit of background noise. Eliminating ALL background noise is like when someone wants to photograph an "environmental portrait" and they use an f/1.4 lens wide open, so the whole environment is blurred out to oblivian anyway. Just my not-so-humble opinion. Easy Mark in Marin County, CA.

Sounds and looks like a great product Shane .....I couldn't hear much of a difference between the three maybe a slight edge to the Godox ? Cheers mate !

I think we would have to see a more comprehensive test to really notice a difference. In Shane's short demonstration, on the Saramonic units, one thing that stood out was when he made a "Z" sound (like the letter S in the word "using", where it sounds more like a "Z" than an "S"), it had this offputting buzz to it. Watch at the 9:29 mark. Actually, for Shane's voice, the silibants ("S" sounds) all sound a bit overemphasized on the Saramonic. (The other brands probably had issues, too. Just that this was the FIRST THING I noticed.)

Seems really great but definitely the lav mic was not up to par with the rest of the unit. Would you recommend an alternative lav mic to work with it then?
Great review with all the switching around of different units and situations!

First rate review. Disappointed you did not compare this godox to the hollyland link 150 with its knobbed receiver. Does the link 150 have more features? Gary

I don’t have all of the packs I reviewed anymore. Check my review of the Hollyland I covered all the same stuff. 😊👍

Hi great review, where did you get that table mat with honeycomb design ?

Office Works in Australia. It's one of their "Gaming" table mats. It helps keeps the acoustics down a bit in the studio so I dig it.

Hi Shane, do you have a link for the USB-A to 3xUSB-C cable?

Fellow filmmaker RUclips channel once asked a question to all these established companies from China, why bother? First we have seen little innovation on those ifootage angelfish lights, smallrig lights, now is this Godox trying to compete with DJI and Rode. They are Godox, Not like start up or no name companies on Amazon or eBay, they have their name well established. How low can they go? Where is their ego?
