Mike is an astute businessman he definitely was the fly on the wall and developed a business sense of circumventing what the label heads were throwing at them and strategically rectifying the issues for the betterment of the group and the groups he discovered and cultivated into legends.

dude, this is happening right this moment with artist now. How many times have we heard , "you don't make any money off of selling records." No..... YOU aren't making money off your records and streaming but someone is. Right now... labels have contracts with the streaming companies where they are banking but yet the artist are getting pennies and having to tour all the time to break even.

Worked in the music business for a while… I have seen contracts, hell I am married to a lawyer. People love to blame the industry when the contract is ‘bad’. Most time it’s the fact is the lawyer or not lawyer the artist got never really was versed in entertainment law. As Bev said find one that artist can afford is hard because entertainment lawyers get paid by the size of the deal the are doing. So no real entertainment lawyer is going to do your little 50-70 k deal
