Which of the elements discussed in the video will you add to your video script? 1. HOOK 2. INTRO 3. TALKING POINTS 4. INTERACTIVITY 5. CTA 6. OUTRO Tell me in the comments below!
Salma, you are a great instructor with a clear and organized message. I have watched many of your videos lately. One thing that sticks out is mic room reverb. Until you get a chance to sound treat your studio, you could consider moving your mic (especially a shotgun mic) overhead and as close to you as possible, just out of the frame of your shot. This will let you turn down the input level while keeping your volume the same and reduce some reverb. Also, if you are using Premiere Pro, you can insert the audio effect "Adaptive Noise Reduction" then choose the DeReverb Single Source preset and play with it until you like it. You can drop it on your audio track mixer on your voice over track and set it and forget it. Super best wishes for your channel. You are amazing. P.S. If you hide this comment I won't be offended ;)
Hi Salma i have to watch all of your videos really. Because i need these all so that i can start my vlog soon. Ive been planning to do it like 6months ago. Thanks ive found you. The most clear and understandable tutorial.
Salem, you are so helpful. I love your brand color, my brand colors are purple & green. I've always thought they were to strong but stuck with them. So I'm happy to see how nice and professional they appear on your channel.
Super clear thanks Salma! I feel like I knew all of these, but never seem to do all of them well in one video, there are always some missing - now I have a clear list to check off!
RIGHT!!!?? I am the same. If I didn't have this template, my video would be all over the place. Look forward to seeing your next video with ALL the elements lol :)
Definitely the hook. It was missing from my few videos. I'll make sure to make it curious and interesting. also the repeatable intro to build branding. Great video, thanks.
I can't tell you how happy I am that I found your channel. Seriously binge watching all your videos. Found you through Nick Nimmin youtube channel and i'm hooked lol
I need scripts for my videos in a bad way! I watch a video and realize it could be so much more organized and concise if I would have used a script. Thanks for sharing!
I absolutely love your videos. I've created my channel and I'm new at it so all of what you shared here I will be focusing on doing in my videos, consistently!! THANK YOU!
oh that's awesome. It's always great when a new channel starts off knowing this stuff so they can accelerate faster. Good luck as you start your RUclips journey! (I'm almost envious hahaha)
I need to work on my interactivity. I've started adding end screens and cards, but I haven't really planned out the cards, so I just drop them in when I'm talking about the subject of the card. I should start planning it better. Thanks for another informative video. At some point, could you do a video on making the most out of budget equipment? Specifically, I'm interested in making the onboard webcam on my laptop look as good as possible. I've come a long way with it since my first video, but could still use some tweaking.
Great video, Salma and all so well explained!! Just trying to see how to make it work for me, since I don't want people to watch a next video, but to sign up for vocal classes with me...way to go with my video:-), but thanks for these guidelines!
Very nice video as always, learning day by day new things from your videos but yes my friend I use all of these elements in my videos🙏 but I have no idea where am I going wrong with my channel?
I am a new subscriber and started listening to your videos and joined your group last night. I just love your presentation. One thing we have in common is that I love to learn how to do something and teaching on it is the best way. Which of these elements will I use? Seems like I would want to use all of them! BTW, the numbering of the list doesn't match the video. You talked about 4 before 3. Thanks! Love watching you! Thanks for teaching us!
I can even film without a script anymore, it saves me a ton of time filming if I've got what I'm filming structured ahead of time. That being said, I can barely read a script without glasses and 1000W floodlight pointing at it. Reading is hard... so is getting old. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go yell at kids for walking on my lawn and not pulling their pants up.
1. Massive Hook (usually high production value) 2. 3 second CTA instead of an intro 3. Content 4. View hand-off after 75% where applicable (card) 5. Endscreen push containing collapsed video I've given up on letting my audience have any idea the end is near. No more hints of a wrap up. I'm still refining the 3 second CTA so that it contains more branding. My thought is that I want several different versions that are more specific to the content I'm covering in that video instead of a more generic "hit the bell" push.
If I have other content that relates well to the video in question, I'll try to extend the session by teasing it somewhere and handing the video off to another before it actually ends. For instance, "I actually dug pretty deep into that last week. If you want to learn more, I'll put a link right up here" **point up, cue the card** I'm exchanging what is usually the lesser watched portion of a video (the last 25%) by handing it off to something that might make them want to watch longer before that video is over.

Thank you for the compliments and you are right: sound proofing my home studio is the next big priority!
yes, I am untrained and it was the first thing I noticed. But who am I? I have so much to learn and change, lol.
Awesome information for beginners!! Thank you!

That means a lot - thank you always leaving thoughtful comments

Great and simple guidelines .Really loved it
Thank you for the video. I want to start a DIY channel and trying to learn how to film it
Great video! Very helpful.
Definitely the hook. It was missing from my few videos. I'll make sure to make it curious and interesting. also the repeatable intro to build branding. Great video, thanks.

Nick is cool and so are you 😊 Happy to have you here!

That's exactly what scripting helped me do!! Stop rambling and say things in an organized way :) GET IT!
Hi Salma, great video! I love the new camera cuts.
Haha yes, switching it up. Loved that you noticed and commented on it
Thank you so much, Salma, this is really helpful!!!
Good to know 👍

@@SalmaJafri My pleasure. 😁

It can work the same way for any CTA. Just lead in with a relevant offer to your video and ask people to click something/somewhere specific.
Thank you madam for your explanation how would be a video
Great info.
thanks!
good speech

How often do you post on RUclips
Once a week, unless there's an extenuating circumstance
I need to introduce intro and interactivity ..but I have no clue as to what should be the intro
Love it!!!
💜💜💜
Very good good good
Thank you thank you thank you :)
I really need a hook and intro as I don’t have any clarity on this.
weird zoom ins, nice video
Happy it was useful!

Now I'm curious - what does your video structure look like Mr. Frederickson 😂
1. Massive Hook (usually high production value)

3. Content

@@Daniel_Batal Interesting. What's a "view handoff"?

@@Daniel_Batal Ah of course! That makes sense, just didn't have a term for it
I need to add structure. My videos aren't instructional videos, more comedy, but based on a topic.
Not give practical madam
