Old School Power at Willoughby CSX 8801 leads EMD quartet plus CSX 911 at Painesville + the Chessie

On 8/15/23 we caught CSX 8801 leading train M565-15 west in Willoughby Ohio. What was common power isn't so anymore so it's a treat when a SD40 leads a road train!
Also CSX 5303 leads an intermodal train at Collinwood's fuel pad with CSX 1973 the Chessie engine trailing.
CSX 911 leads an intermodal west at Painesville and then near Berea
CSX 5440 leads an eastbound manifest train at Painesville

CSX 8801 is one of my most favourite SD40-2s of the CSX roster. This locomotive was built in 1977 and still going strong to this day. Love these SD40-2s from India 🇮🇳

Since the lead item was older power it soothed the soul add it sure was all hands on deck for the horsepower. Very nice New Perspective with the fuel rack overview and 911 really giving it's all on that Intermodal. Those two engines on the last train going by the depot with that 2 1/2 mile train sure was a testimony to the water level route. Very Nice Selection

Hi, Thanks for filming and posting. The Collinwood's fuel pad was particularly interesting. I can see the Fuel Cranes, Water & Oil Cabinets & Booms.
Also, seeing the overhead Gantry supplying all these to the Pad, as well as Traction-Sand to the 5 Filler Cabinets from the Sand Silo was very helpful.
Please comment if I've got anything wrong, I'm in the UK and trying to build my HO model Diesel Service Pad. Thanks.

No I think it’s a different audio track. It still has the K5 from what I can see on the drone video.
