Those 49 mins felt like they went by so fast😭. The switch is definitely one of the best consoles no doubt about it. Really excited to see what the “switch 2” will be like
I bought Mario 3D All-stars before i owned a switch. And now I don't regret it. I'm also 80+ titles deep of physical copies (of other titles) after owning a switch lite i ended up buying a regular and OLED. It made me enjoy gaming again.
MAN THIS VIDEO WAS SO GOODDD!!! Idk how u made 50 mins feel like 5, like I feel I want to watch more nowww 😭🙏 The Switch was so great, not only it had banger games, but it launched the carreers of so many awesome creators like Scott The Woz, Beatemups and even You!!
You forgot the most important game that came out in 2022. Kirby & The Forgotten Land. The very first 3D Kirby game we had in an long time and so far, it's the best selling Kirby game. How did you forget that?
I just found your channel. This is such satisfying content. I love the editing and actual passion you seem to have. Like Austin Eruption or Scot the Woz. So cool. My only complaint is you didnt mention Astral Chain. Such a fantastic game. My first ever Platinum game that I finished. One of the best OSTs ever and tbh its still one of the best looking games on switch
Amazing video as always. My favorites that I still can’t believe we got were Pikmin 3 Deluxe bringing back Olimar and Louie, Pikmin 4 which I am still blown away we got a new Pikmin 10 years later, and of course Paper Mario TTYD Remake. I’m in the same camp as you can’t believe we getting another Mario & Luigi game as well!
I'm glad the Switch has turned out to be a success as this was the last console Iwata ever worked on. So it being the system that not only got Nintendo's crown back yet again but has held it consistently is just awesome for his legacy. People can play semantics all they want but the fact is this was a gen 8 console and it beat BOTH the ps4 and the xbox whatever. And it is STILL beating the current systems by a wide margian and consistently pumps out games even as we reach the end of it's life cycle.
The switch is legit the most exciting launch for any console ever for me. Happened on my 19th birthday. Had my cousin go wait in line at eb games and grab one launch morning because i live 2 hours away from anything 😂. I went in with my parents later that day to pick up my fresh new neon switch with botw. Thats all i needed because my hype for botw was through the roof due to e3 2016. I played it all the way home and was blown away to be playing something of that caliber on a handheld. The switch is still awesome today, though it is starting to feel pretty old, lol.
I would love a Switch port of Yoshi's Woolly World! Because that's another one of my favorite games of all time! And, it's one of the few good Wii U games not on Switch...YET!!!
Also on a side note if you look what what a jailbroken switch oled can do it’s really a no brainer. That thing is so much potential. Heck you can stream your steam games to the switch oled and play in handheld mode with good WiFi
Nintendo Switch is one of the best Nintendo video games consoles along with the NES, SNES, N64, DS/3DS & Wii!!!!!!!!!! The Trilogy: Nintendo Wii U Nintendo Switch Steam Deck
@@jaretco6423 True, tha might be the most important thing to happen to Kirby series in a long long time. I remembered FE Engage just because he said that there were nothing important in the first months of 2023 and I was like, come on Engage was not bad, not an amazing story but a very solid gameplay for a FE game.
Epic compilation! Somehow I got hooked by the Switch a few days ago, do you think its worth buying at almost the end of its life cycle? I guess the pros are that I can buy all of the (considered) best games. But with the new switch around the corner I also have doubts
The only Nintendo franchise that stunk on Nintendo switch was pokemon from releasing rushed and buggy low quality games to many anti consumer practices and having one of the worst fan bases to exist at the moment. the only other franchise that got even close to as bad as pokemon was the mario sports games even then if you ignore that they have the bare minium amount of content there decently fun games. yes you could say the same with pokemon but the major difference is that mario sports are spinoff and pokemon games are mainline entries! Imagine if Mario Odyssey and Botw released in the same state as pokemon it would had been awful! Pokemon on switch is hot garbage and it makes me sick that they sold 20 million plus copies!
As a pokemon fan since before i could read, the state of the franchise makes me so incredibly sad. Its been downhill since Gen 5. I did enjoy the switch games to an extend, but I wont be buying any new pokemon games before they show signs of improvement. I bought Scarlet on release and I kind of regret it. I had fun with the open world and the story but that game was a joke for full price. Apart from the horrible graphics and performance, it was clearly unfinished and, like all of the newer games, WAY to easy. I found myself struggling to NOT overlevel completely just exploring and catching pokemon. The only somewhat tough battle was the champion. Even the final rival battle wasn’t too hard
I think every Pokemon region will probably get a legends game because it is just super popular and it is easy money because of the nostalgia and because it is more than just a remake
Me say: 1st few years like 2 and half good. But got tired of it slowly. Now can’t think wat to play most time. And at love Wii U too. I place list of tier. Thus be 3rd best Nintendo. 3 to 5 best console over all but number 1 handheld.
the switch has been my favorite console of all time, it was there for me as a little kid who got to play games in my room to now being a college student who gets to carry around that lil thing and play it anywhere, the lite is actually portable and handheld-y unlike the steam deck, yet it's powerful enough to play tons of newish/biggish games the 3ds and ps vita can't. It gets alot of flack by the general populous and sometimes rightly so because nintendo is sh1t and the switch is also omega underpowered but I'll be damned I love the little guy
They didn’t announce any details as far as I'm aware. The only info we recently got was that it will be backwards compatible. The leaks may have claimed it will be an LCD, but those aren’t confirmed to be accurate until we get the official announcement imo.
@ yeah I remember now. It was a leak from Nintendo’s patent and also a leak from the production line at Sony. It’s seems very legit since Sony already makes their screens.
“But in breath of the wild” you meant to say tears of the kingdom right? Small mistake but a small mistake goes a long way for your future content my G. 🎉 but otherwise great content. 37:46
I love them but i was just including the major releases for the year, I plan on making a video about underappreciated switch games that they will be on :D
i'm so frustrated at the hate mob swortd and shield got because i just thought to myself damn pokemon really isn't that good anymore i might aswell not keep playing every game, and then i recently have started playing through sword and shield and it's so much more enjoyable than scarlet and violet, people were wayy too stingey.
As incredible era it has, the Switch was so basic in terms of the hardware and the User Interface. A plain black background for nearly 8 years. No intention at all to make it like the 3DS and get customizable backgrounds, menu screens, nothing. No intentions of making connecting with friends more better with sending messages to each other, communicating via voice, etc. I swear the Switch would've been MUCH better and more memorable!! But hopefully the Switch 2 will inherit these ideas and dont make the same 8 year mistake!
You mean in terms of UI because that isn't hardware also Switch was rushed in development due to the Wii u Failure so they didn't have time to Polish the UI
I understand what you saying and you can make fan’s opinion with a low IQ but not MWA so therefore POKEMON VIOLET IS DEFINITELY ONE OF THE BEST POKEMON GAMES IVE EVER PLAYED. No Offense to you bruh or your team.

You did really well on this video! Thank you for sharing the Switch’s golden years

Sonic and Shadow generation is 👍🏾🔥
Hot take but I like Sword & Shield more than Scarlet & Violet
I don't even own a switch anymore but I'm ordering a lite and pokemon sword because I miss the competitive battles 😅
Not a hot take at all I totally agree
I believe SS have more copies sold than SV
Fun fact: I have 2 cases for 3D All-Stars as I lost one and thankfully managed to snag a new copy before they stopped making them😅
I’ll be putting this on my watch later list when I’m done with school today
I hope you love it :D
