    Thank you for this. I appreciate a real example of what to expect from an older more used home. I have some nasty stairs that I recently inherited and when I watch videos everyone is working on clean newer stuff. Your video is much more relatable and I also appreciate your editing to cover more in less time.

    Woman sister you are a genius. I too have dirty carpet on the only stairs between the first and second floor. Could not get past how we were going to get up and down the stairs while the paint or stain was drying! LOL. Have watched so many carpet removal videos and you have been the only one who has the same set of simple tools, including the saw, that I have. A huge thank you for showing how will power and brain power make it happen!!!

    Girl, let me tell you, you are so lucky that you didn't find an adhesive mess under that carpet. I pulled up mine, and it had funky old laminate under it, so I pulled it out too. Holy cow, what a mess! I've been scraping adhesive for 3 days now! What a pain! It had to go though because my husky, oddly enough loves to use it as her potty. I can't even begin to imagine how she positions herself to go on the dang stairs, but she surely does it. (Never get a husky) can't wait to move on to painting and staining.
    Great job btw. Looks fantastic. Exactly the look I'm going for.

      I was wondering about the pup too. 🐕💕 We have 2 seniour dogs, a black Pug & a Beagle/Pug cross, & I want to do our staircase too, but we'll need a carpet runner on ours (as well for our 2 Siamese cats). Unfortunately, our treads are particle board underneath the carpet, with wood risers (wish it were the opposite! 😖).. so we will have to figure out if we can do the treads on ours without replacing them, as that would require replacing the entire railing & I do NOT want to do that! 😔). Great job on yours! 🤗

    • @introducinglele1246
      @introducinglele1246  Год назад

      Thank you for your comment! To answer your questions for good measure I allowed it to dry for 24 hours but it’s seemed like it was dry after 6 hours.
