I have half and half wheels. So half my wheel is chrome, and half is painted. All in a unique design. Can I use this technique for the whole wheel? Or should i use your light metal polish for the chrome, and then this for the black? Great video, as always. Your company has taught me so much!
I'd like to see a video on what to do for polishing mistakes. I used VSS on my hood and it turned out cloudy, so I think I didn't work he product enough and left it on my paint, its unfortunately been too cold up here in Canada to hit it again. Thanks for all the great products and videos. Cheers!
Well in the end the show the before and after results lol but the after results i feel like they didnt put the pen properly maybe because there was still miner imperfections lol but im still buying it @Mano_on_Point
How much time per wheel to do this? Also you showed all the swirls and scratches at the beginning @3:07 with inspection light and then showed (briefly at the end) @22:24 but there were still swirls and scratches at least that's what it appeared like in the video, it didn't look much if any different...or were you showing the swirls from the beginning again? and never showed (with the inspection light) at the end after all that work?
It would've taken much less time without the waterless wash nonsense. Waterless wash is only good for when your vehicle doesn't need cleaned to begin with.
I would like for you guys to do a video with an older model car with paint oxidation. I know polishing the car won't be perfect but it will be better than before. I have started cleaning my car and even though it's a 2006 Acura TSX I already get a lot of compliments on my rims and tires alone. It would be nice to see what I can do to make the paint look better :) thanks for the content
Hi Samuel! Easily wash the trailer with Citrus Wash and Gloss. If polishing is necessary try using the combination of C4 and P4 before applying HydroSlick to lock in shine.
I just ordered your c4 and p4 and machine to polish my truck. Are your products safe with trim and black plastic or am I required to tape off everything?
Hi there! C4 is more aggressive than P4, V32 is the most aggressive compound we offer. www.chemicalguys.com/products/v32-optical-grade-extreme-compound?_pos=1&_sid=6862e9ed9&_ss=r
Awesome instructions and products. I did everything in this video and my wheels are like mirrors now. Thank you!
I had no idea you could hand polish scratches out 🤦🏼♂️ very useful info. Need to get me some hand polishers and pads for my machine
Thanks so much for tuning in!
It’s 2023, so let’s go big! Let’s see you guys get a diesel rig in a video! Like a Peterbuilt 389, or KW W900!
🤩🤩
Yes I agree, that would be dope!!

Thanks so much for your feedback!
Are you using that method for cutting or just polishing?
Just wondering why you didn’t show the inspection LED light for reference after the final process was done!?
The wax definitely filled some of the micro marring. I swear these guys could sell toothpaste and make it look like it did something.

Perfect timing. I was just looking at my wheels yesterday and noticed the small scratches. This is the weekend project now. Thanks!

Same here! Good to see you dont have to use a machine.

Great suggestion! Yes, try working VSS a little big longer with maybe a couple more passes to thoroughly diminish the abrasives.
They hold an led on the wheels on the before but don't even light it up in the after, guarantee a lot of those fine swirl marks are still there...
I noticed that as well
You didn’t watch the whole video. Lol because they did at the end, however wheels still had swirls 😂😂

Good breakdown. What if your wheels have been ceramic coated? Do you skip some steps? Was looking forward to some better before / after pictures. 🤷🏽
Thanks so much for your feedback. Polish will remove ceramic coatings so this would be a step before applying coatings.

Exactly. Details matter to this audience.

Please do a series where each member of the CG team uses their favorite products and why. Maybe even using their daily driver or one they have built.
Thanks so much for your suggestion!
Why wax instead of a ceramic in this video?
Great video. Do you guys recommend decon and if so when should you use it. I have watched a few of your other videos and no decon
Hey Frank! Yes, use DeCon to lift stubborn brake dust.
I would assume with glossy wheels you need to wash with non abrasive materials(i.e. the red rocket and wheelie brush), and use chenille wash pads?

Joey, what about travel trailers? What products do you guys recommend?

Can y’all do a complete detail with the waterless and how would I clean the tires on a real dirty truck using waterless

Glad you liked it!
Are the wheels PAINTED or POWDER COATED? Big difference in the 2. And is there any ceramic coating on them?
Hey! These wheels are painted.
Plasti dipped lol
Interesting…would have liked to see shining the light on the rim AFTER the polish as well…not just the before….
Thanks so much for your feedback
What kind of polish can you use for black chrome?
Does this work on stainless steel rims?
Yes, I hand polish my SS rims all the time.
man thats alot of work! But necessary video thanks

Hi Bradley! Mask off sensitive rubber and plastic trim to prevent staining.

What products do you have for Fuel Kicker 6 Bronze wheels they are painted but not glossy except the trim ring.
Hi Brian! Use Diablo Wheel Cleaner to safely detail your wheels.
I accidentally used V38 and the ORANGE pad instead of the white pad which created a bunch of marring. is that an easy fix?
Hey Shane! Try using V38 again with a White Hex-Logic Pad to refine the finish and remove marring.
@@ChemicalGuys Okay thanks!
