Oh my days! You watch Natasha too! I love watching videos by the both of you. Though I'm partial to a fellow Brit. I've really enjoyed this and I'm looking forward to doing this. I'm moving house so it's been crazy and I'm aghast by the amount of embellishments that I've acquired, but I look forward to doing some cards with them. Thanks for a lovely video x
ha ha you crack me up! I've actually become super good friends with Natasha through all of this. We message most days, she's super lovely. I love you call me a fellow Brit🥰 ha ha im Canadian. Ive been here in the UK (Just outside of Oxford) for about 14 years now. My husband is Mancunian :)
@@SashaReade well I've been here 17 years and I am now a Brit, so I'm sure you are doubly so, being married to a Macunian as well! I live in Bolton, very close to Manchester. I believe that once I'm set up, we're going to really going to have so much to do together, and with Natasha hopefully. I'm giddy just thinking about it! 😂 😂 😂
Oh Sasha, Gorgeous cards. Everything you loved about these cards, I loved about them! I was so impressed with this product! Like I said, I had to have it! Now I have stamped for 25 years, and tried a lot of new products, but this is wonderful! You have done a wonderful job promoting this and it will sell! I kid you not! It is simply gorgeous! Thank you for sharing. Not when your children have recess tomorrow..... no kidding. But we will be watching for your other ideas.
Oh my goodness!! Just incredible Sasha. As I have said loads of times, you are a brilliant card maker. All those amazing ideas you come up with. Brilliant 👍 "See" you Wednesday. Stay safe 😷 and well 🤗 🤗 ☺
Super great to see what fun you're having getting all those cards done. Love your enthusiasm, really lifts the spirits at this time ☺ cant wait for more x
Hi Sasha, well! After the explosion backgrounds this is the icing on the cake!! Love your idea with the part stamping then adding it to the card base!! You have some lovely ideas Sasha, thanks for giving them to us, take care. Regards.
Really love using square dies for the layers, I have gorgeous Anna Griffin papers that I love to use as layers, but hate wasting such beautiful papers. Being able to use them on 2 cards is a fabulous idea. I can't wait to get explosion powders!
Love the use of stamping on the scraps and can't wait to give this a go as have plenty of scraps to work with. Thank you for the ideas and inspiration x
Thank you for these wonderful videos. Such a variety of beautiful cards from your backgrounds. Amazing! Hope your busy week goes well for you and the children too.
Again.....WOOOW!!! Absolutley BEAUTIFUL Cards Sasha! Love them All! 🤗🤗 I haven't done ANY Crafting in several months. After watching you, I really need to get back into my craft room, and see what I can get into. Lol ☺ Blessings My Friend
Loving the adhesive backing trick! Sasha you've taught me so many new things! I'm trying to use what I have on hand but I do save all my bits. The jar storage is great too!!
Hi Sasha, it's always fun to see someone else being overly fascinated by such powders (as I am). Such products are already on the market for several years. E.g. Color Burst by Ken Oliver (No shimmer), Lindy's Magicals (metallic), Brushos (flat colours) and Pixie Powders by Cosmic Shimmer (metallic). They all have pigments of several colours/hues. You can find lots of Videos how to use them, e.g. for stamping, with pastes or with stencils ... Have fun playing! Love to see more cards by you with these.
I love these! I don't know why it's taken so long for your videos to pop up on my RUclips, but here you are, and I am so grateful for your ideas, which I will happily steal...😉 I wouldn't add anything to the little black and gold cards, because to me they're perfect as they are, and without a sentiment on the front, I would put them into frames, and have them on the wall. They would be perfect on a slim wall or alcove. I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who guts a piece of card for a middle layer, it's such a waste when it can be used for another project, and with postage prices rising as they are, it helps to offset any decoration, such as sequins, or heavier gems, when posting. Right, I'm off to Coleman's, before they close down, for some decent weight black card. Another loss to the high street, and to crafters in general...
Fabulous Cards and wonderful tips! WOW, I loved them all and I can't wait to get my hands on the powders! You read my mind today, I was thinking of doing the same thing you did with the foil and glitter sheet with some heat foil because I couldn't get it to work with my laminator and I don't want to waste it. Great ideas!!! See you Wednesday!
I love these. You have inspired me (as usual)! I have some similar products, which I have had a long time, but not used for a while. I have had them out and created some backgrounds to use, but I had never thought of using them on black card - genius! They look like outer space, but I have put gold flower silhouettes on them and I'm delighted with the results! Also, can't wait to try your stamping idea - another stroke of genius. TFS. Good luck with the home teaching, I'm on the other end of it!! Keep well and stay safe. 😃👍
I just decided based on Jenny card designs to get a bits & pieces box together for when I need a quick card, and I think I'm going to cut up a bunch of bases & layers ready to go with some of these glorious watercolor bases!
I LOVED this video the first time I watched it but I was really glad when I got to watch it again now that I got my hands on the Americanized product!! It's called Pixie Sparkles and I've been having SO much fun with them, they do come from the UK! I just wish they had your favorite Mermaid color, but they do have one called Marine and it's close. Hope things are getting a little better over there for you and your beautiful family. Sending you Big Hugs, keep those videos coming I love your Saturday ones. :-))
Beautiful cards, love how much you enjoyed yourself. Reminds me I haven't used any of my regular powders in forever, those these are awesome. I've been cutting out the centers of my specialty cardstock layers forever, they cost so much, it doesn't make sense not to. Enjoy your time with the kids!
This was really a very interesting, stunning and stimulating video. Thank you. I always wonder what to do with my scraps. Thinking of you and praying for all of us in these circumstances. We in South Africa are back on level 3 lockdown. Have a wonderful week. 🤩
This is such a good idea. I don't have the 'posh powders' but I have Brushos, so I have made lots of papers then splattered them with watered down gold paint to try to achieve a similar result. I didn't hold out much hope that it would work and look as nice as your powders .. but I am happy to say it worked! Maybe not quite as good, but still a nice result. The paint is gold acrylic from the pound shop (UK). So pleased you shared this idea.
Love these. Thank you for the tip with the double sided tape, would never have thought of that myself and I sometimes get crooked bits and have to start again because it’s stuck down! Also the stamping on strips, great technique. My favourite were the smaller flower and the silhouette stamped cards near the end with ‘you are simply wonderful’ on them, really cute and such a nice sentiment to send someone. I’ve just gone and bought the stamp from your link on Amazon I loved it so much. You always have great ideas and create such beautiful cards. Thank you for being you 😊. Edit: also just bought the florals stamp because I love Gerberas!
I watched both videos and I'm loving your cards! Really love the ones where you used your scraps! I need to try this! Awesome video - thank you, Sasha!
Love these cards! I've been wanting to get these type of explosion powders for a while, but never really knew what I would do with them after. Thank you this is such an informative video. Thank you again!.
Absolutely beautiful cards. I’ve managed to order one pot of explosion powder from CraftStash, can’t wait to have a play. Thank you so much for the inspiration xx
Really pretty cards, a lot of them give me the out of space feeling. I fell in love with the ones you did on black, fireworks display. Amazing as usual Sasha, I am hoping the lockdown doesn't last too long for you. I am in Victoria Australia and our lockdown went on for months, so I did a Sasha Reade thing and dropped off cards to all of my neighbours.
So inventive and beautiful! I wondered whether I could make the powder burst as I have tons of Brusho - maybe I could add some mica powder to get the same effect? I’m totally confused though. The first of your videos I saw (mentioned by someone on Natasha Foote’s Facebook page) I thought, ah nice, British - only because when products are recommended I know I could actually get them! Then I detected North American, then you mentioned going home to Canada, then you whipped out a Tesco yogurt pot! Anyway, really nice to have found you, and thoroughly enjoying what I’ve seen so far. Thank you x
Hi! We've been looking forward to watching you today, I love your open honesty! Every time you specifically name a color or brand, its going to sell out! Lol... seriously, do you have a shop or Etsy where you sell cards that you've made? I'm gonna raise my hand for, Me First!, if so... I'd love to purchase. 😊💖
Absolutely! I wouldnt post it if i didnt want to share and get people having a go as well! I would love if you gave me a shout out if you share it on social media, but i absolutely want you to have a go and get creating :)
Hi Sasha, I Love watching you and your work. Do you have a link for the Just For You stamp set you used in this video, I have tried to find it but to no avail. Thank you for all you do xxx Lisa
Lovely demonstration, thank you for sharing. I don’t know if I’m using the websites wrong, but I’m quite disappointed in AliExpress, everycraftapound, they don’t seem to have a lot of stock....is it me?
Maybe my simple mind, but why don't you first glue the strips on your card and then stamp them all together. Looks to me even quicker. Love your cards though!! 🥰
The image on the bottom layer would have a little gap along the edge of the strips that make the top layer if you tried to stamp both layers together. If you covered that part with another strip it would still look okay. Try it either way to see what works for you.

Natasha Foote's great, ideas are lovely, videos are short and sweet, tricks & shortcuts!!!
These are so beautiful. I love how excited you always get. Makes me smile.
Really love using square dies for the layers, I have gorgeous Anna Griffin papers that I love to use as layers, but hate wasting such beautiful papers. Being able to use them on 2 cards is a fabulous idea. I can't wait to get explosion powders!
This has been such a fun set of cards to make. Im in love with the powders, i keep putting them on everything!
I LOVE my bone bone folder, too. They don’t kill an animal to make a bonefolder. The rest of the animal has been used, too.
Love the use of stamping on the scraps and can't wait to give this a go as have plenty of scraps to work with. Thank you for the ideas and inspiration x
Thank you so much Sasha, for showing this technique again. It is awesome ans stunning🥰🥰🥰👍
Thank you for these wonderful videos. Such a variety of beautiful cards from your backgrounds. Amazing! Hope your busy week goes well for you and the children too.

WOW!!! Beautiful cards!!! Hope your lock down does not last too long!! Take care and stay safe!!!
The cards are beautiful. Good use of the scraps. I will have to try the tip with the tap, you made it look easy.
lovely cards Sasha.. I can't wait for my explosion powders to come so I can play with them..

Thanks for all the Inspiration Sasha, Your cards are amazing!

I tea dyed my bone folders to make the smudges look more intentional! I’ve been using mine for about 25 years.

Absolutely breathtaking !! You are so creative. I love watching...
All the cards are soooo beautiful, I can’t pick to be my favorite they are all evenly great. Thank you for sharing.

They are so fast and easy to use. Im still doing more today, cant seem to stop, i think part of it is the getting messy. Thank you for watching
I love the cards you made with the backgrounds. The larger one's you did with the stamped strips to match up with the stamped backround is genius! 😀
Love love them all thanks Sasha. Keep safe 😊

I was so excited to see how you used all those backgrounds! Awesome!!

This was so fun. I am so excited to try even though I don't have the explosions. Lol. I will check my stash to see what I have. Tfs
I learned so much watching you make all of these cards. Thank you for the wonderful tutorial.
The way you used all the background scraps is genius ! I’m so sad for all my lovely bits I’ve tossed away 🙄🤦🏼♀️🤣
Wow they are very stunning.

I love the die cut ‘layering’ idea thats so pretty and im always curious what to make with these...
Thank you for doing this video. 10 thumbs up!!! Now would you object for us to sort of copy your design? Some crafters don't like this.
Love all your projects What thickness of paper will be the best for envelopes
I love the cards - you are so talented! Did you make the flowers, too?
Lovely demonstration,thank you for sharing.
I don’t know if I’m using the websites wrong, but I’m quite disappointed in AliExpress, everycraftapound, they don’t seem to have a lot of stock....is it me?
Your card is absolutely beautiful ! Do you sell it ?
Would you please explain what I have to use to prevent the color powder from staining once the sheet has dried? Thank you 😘
So on a 5x5 piece, if you do a layer at 5 1/8 x 5 1/8 it's only going to be 1/16 of an inch bigger on each side?
Maybe my simple mind, but why don't you first glue the strips on your card and then stamp them all together. Looks to me even quicker.
