When I fry in oil, there's times it will splatter. I tire of trying to get it out of shirts. I stopped one day, picked up my Dawn platinum, ran some hot dish water, put the shirt in the water for about 3-4 minutes. Squeezed out most of the water and threw the shirt in the washer. Voila!!! 😊 One nice clean shirt and no oil spots.

Hardy-har on me. Jeans, shirts, socks - all my clothing faded by many years worth, in months. I also believe it was breaking down the cothing's fibers. Dawn dish liquid & hydrogen peroxide will make a serious cleaning combo. If you can, be sure to test it before making a total commitment.

In addition if you add baking soda to a little water, mix with a tooth brush and put some on a tooth brush and then on a grease stain on your clothing, rub gently and then wash, the stain will come out. Tried it. Really works.
I use Dawn soap when I preshrink my fabric I put a couple color grabbers and a teaspoon of Dawn I the washing mashing. Dawn removes the oils from the dyes used to print the fabric. Does not fade the fabric, but if the fabric is going to bleed the color grabbers will be self evident. I also use Dawn soap and vinegar mixture to kill weeds in the garden. Just spray the weeds and they are dead in no time.
1 part Dawn 2 parts hydrogen peroxide. You could also do 50/50 but I don't see the point in wasting more soap it's concentrated enough. I put it in a spray bottle and the less I have to worry about it sudding up in the sprayer the better.
It all depends on what you are using it for. For stains on clothing just a few drops of dawn soap and a table spoon of peroxide will do it. If you use it on something like grout lines, I mix a half cup peroxide with 2 table spoons of dawn soap. I usually mix that into a spray bottle with warm water.
@@novacleanersI actually just did this to clean my grout in the bathroom, I mopped the ceramic tile floor afterwards for ever trying to get rid of the suds. It cleaned the grout though, after I scrubbed it hard. I gave up at the end of the day, next day I used vinegar in water and that worked at removing the suds. The following day, I applied a penetrating sealer to the grout. I hope I don't have to do this again
This is like a public service announcement! Nice! Thanks for saying. We have what we need usually but just need that bit of help to put it together. HP is really cheap. I would keep it in kitchen, bathroom and laundry areas. I read that hp and baking soda sprinkled on top would bleach a animal “accident” out of a blanket, mattress pad cover so thank goodness. Then wash after it has sat on there for an hour or so. Also, dawn and baking soda for grease stains on clothes! Just combine by eye, may be 50/50 , really apply with spoon, let sit for hours , then wash.

@@flowerpower3618 that is a great question, so the ratio is a factor but also the fabric. Most fabrics will not have any problems with hydrogen peroxide. To be safe it’s always good to check a small spot inside a sleeve to see how it reacts. We clean upholstery and carpets and I’ve used it on clothes and have never run into a problem yet.

As long as they are white shoes, hydrogen peroxide can have a bleaching effect on colours. If it’s just a leather shoe, and not fabric you should be good just make sure to clean the residue off.

Some dish soaps have degreaser power just like Dawn dish soap but some are just not created equal. Dawn is just a brand I use a lot.

Terrible idea for carpet and furniture or any fabric you can’t put in a washing machine. Peroxide by itself is great! Dish soap or any soap is terrible! Dish soap leaves a residue that will reattract soil that would normally come up with a vacuum cleaner but now sticks like a magnet! Now when that spot comes back every few weeks you’ll be constantly having to reclean the area over and over. Only it won’t be the spot as you got rid of it the first time. Now you’re using soap, to clean soap!

Proper PSI is need to extract residue from any cleaning chemicals when using on carpets. Also for fabrics you have to be careful. Thanks for the feedback.

You can use Dawn dish liquid without the hydrogen peroxide to remove stains on clothing. Been using it straight for years.

Bathroom and floor tiles are laid in with grout between each, and over time this grout gets grimy with dirt, mildew, etc. hard to clean.

Proper PSI is need to extract residue from any cleaning chemicals when using on carpets. Also for fabrics you have to be careful. Thanks for the feedback.
@ I figured you know or at least hoped you did. That part of the comment was more for people who don’t have a machine or truck mount. Nothing more frustrating than getting to a customers home and the entire carpet is full of soap killing your vacuum.

Please go back to original scent not all these scented dawn! I’ll have to go to another product
@@susanbanks4918 you can use other dish soap that degreases well. Lots of natural products that are scent free as well.
