Thanks for the guide! A lot of people have been saying that it bugs out if you use tractor beams. I wonder if the problem is using tractor beams _in a group?_
I do find less bugs if the first interaction with the box is picking it up. Seems to help physicilize and synchronize player and item. After that the beam is fine. I'll even drop it instantly some times. (have a keybind for "drop item")
We tested both but couldn't really detect a problem with the tractor beams. I felt that the boxes were not interactable when several players from different groups got the same mission. 🤞
Hello, another very good video by Karolinger on the current mission of the Overdrive event in Star Citizen. I really like the introduction to the mission, the overview for planning the mission, and also the reminder from Karolinger that the final mission 6 of the event will come in Alpha 3.23. This means, as described in the video, missions 1 - 5 need to be completed before the Go-Live of Alpha 3.23 in Alpha 3.22. I played mission 5 again yesterday with the RRL organization and as always, it was a lot of fun. And let's be honest, how often do you get to pass by the "Pyro" jump point, which is "near" ArcCorp. So, on to mission 6 in Alpha 3.23, as the RRL makes its way from the main hangar to the bridge of the IDRIS... ;-)
this mission is the most buggy since it gets touchy feely when you enter the dropoff point, since it will sometimes not even recognize a package you have on hand, or someone broke the dropoff point bugging it out for everyone.
Cant wait to get a Guide for the Mission 6 (7 or Final). Please do a guide on how to do the last mission and how much time we have left to complete it. (If they give time span)
Me too… after five hours I don’t have the update yet in the “most easy and relaxing” mission of the chain. Very frustrating. I will be very angry with CIG if I don’t have the token for bug reasons…
because there is so far the problem for many that the missions are not correctly marked as completed at cig. via the support there was some feedback where not all completed phases were also evaluated accordingly 🤞
I love doing these crashsite investigations. The pay is meh, but it's fun to dig around at these sites.
