Thanks for the demo. I bought one and assembled it today.
It's 100° here so I may wait a few days to use it. Your video make me optimistic about it's performance.

I purchased one of these a few days ago from HD. It's fairly easy to put together but the one negative so far, and it's a big one, is the oil fill and dipstick location. The engineers that designed it must've been drunk when they did it. In order to put the right amount in (.63 of a qt) is a complete pain in the arse. I managed to get about.50 of a qt in, using a funnel, before it started running back out and onto the ground. I figure the best thing to do is pull the coil rope several times in an attempt to circulate some oil into the engine then add the rest. Or, go ahead and start it to circulate oil and then add the rest. Either way, a terrible design. It would've been easy to design it to be in a better location so you could be confident that the oil fill is correct. Maybe when I change the oil in 5 hours, once it's completely drained, I'll measure the correct amount of fresh oil and then tilt the thing over slightly to refill it.

I agree... oil changes aren't bad but every time I wonder what they were thinking.

This should not be much of a deal breaker. If you're satisfied you got a full drain, and you know its supposed to take a certain amount on a refill (not a dry fill), I'd just tip it a bit to get the last few oz of oil in. I do this on my 4,500 watt generator and my Honda powered 3,600 psi Simpson power washer. If I need to satisfy myself as to the level afterwards, I just unscrew the fill cap and if it's dribbling, we're good to go. You could also verify exactly what came out upon the drain out, then throw the used oil in a Ratio-Rite, or graduated plastic container, and just refill with the same amount as what you drained.

Nice job on this review brother. I'm considering picking this particular model up. How's the one year review going? Would you buy again??

Talks about “ATV” wheels. Is it the same as a log splitter - e.I can you put on the back of the car just in town?

Hi , I was wondering if you could tell me how to fix the feed Shute. It is reversed. When I put the wood dies no discharge, stays in the Shute as reversed. Thank you.
