If 7 Jebs out of Bill is max rating (which it seems like), and if we'll assume that 8 Jebs out of Bob is max too, than 1 Bill = 0.875 Bob (IMHO it should be reverced, because of the great Odyssey by Bill series, but its just my opinion). Sounds like Kerbal analogue of imperial system, lol. I'm honored to propose Kerbal Metric System, in which the main unit is valentina (Val) and secondary units are kilovalentina (kVal), millivalentina (mVal) and so on (compare to all that pesky "jebs out of someone"). 1 valentina is the meaure of awersomeness (obv) and equal to 1/100 of the first time launch of "Flea" ship during the first KSP tutorial. For reference, first Mun landing - 1 kVal, Making History Expansion - 300 Val, Breaking Ground expansion -~2 kVal, heavily-modded KSP finally loaded after years of waiting - 9000 kVal, lethal dose of awersomeness - 1 kkVal. I'd rate this awersome video ~200 Val.
@@ПолорЄлеон If you rate it 200 Val then that means it's only twice as awesome as launching the Flea in the first tutorial. What you're saying is that a Duna mission with robotic parts is only twice as cool as a simple rocket from the first tutorial? Doesn't make any sense. Overall, I'd rate this at least 5-10 kVal, but that's just my silly opinion. Also nice reference to the Odyssey by Bill, that's a fantastic KSP series ;)
@@carltonleboss OK, perhaps it's subjective. When i first launched a rocket (flea from the tutorial) it felt really awersome, but perhaps it's not the same intence feeling for anyone. Your variant is much more usefull and logical.

Of course you want to say breaking bad, Matt. Of course you do. Also, you should talk to the youtuber Mark Rober. He worked on the curiosity rover for 9 years!
I think Kerbals are like water bears (Tardigrades) and they just kindof dry up when they have nothing to do and when they get something to do they hydrate and return to consciousness. So they can live forever with no food.
The kerbals backpacks are for heating, cooling, protection against falling off the ship, and staying alive. They must have HUGE pockets if those fit in there.
I do like the longer videos because that means more entertainment! Obviously if it’s more convenient for you to not make long ones, then I completely understand. Great video, and awesome channel!
Matt, the thing that keeps me coming back to your channel is the creativity in your builds and how it adds more depth to the missions. Landing on a moon or a planet isn't particularly interesting in itself, but when you have a multi-purpose mission (e.g., rover/science/rescue + a silly story) it starts adding constraints to how the game is played. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that your most interesting videos are when you truly challenge yourself, and I know the new robotics will give you many new ways to accomplish that. When you post videos of succeeding at these challenges, it really is an inspiration to all of us.
Woo! So happy it’s finnaly out! But whenever I landed on the Mun and tried out the new deplorable thingies, but they didn’t work for some reason... I think it’s because I didn’t bring enough power
How embarrassing. I never used the Lander Can parts much and never realized they had doors to storage? Goodness, this is useful info for me. Ha. I got probes to Duna and Eve and am slowly working on my own small station with landing craft to explore those worlds. I'll need to keep this in mind. Sorry you messed up the docking port size on your return vehicle, but it made me feel good that even with your amazing designs that you can make a basic mistake like that. I think you did that on purpose to make the rest of us feel okay. Much appreciated! ;-)
I didn't even know this was coming out, found out yesterday. Figured you would be on top of this! Saw you were in Poland though so thanks for squeezing this video in.
Ivory White with gold would make a cool looking Banjo. And the existence of both the songs “Dueling Banjos” and “Over the Rainbow” with the Ukulele makes choosing the best instrument impossible.
So pumped for the new DLC. Now we've got more reasons to visit the planets and moons than just gathering surface samples and touching down in the different biomes. Now I just have to get through the early contracts in my new career..... Awesome video Matt! I always enjoy them! I had a thought while watching this. With the robotic parts now you can put together a Blunder Bird 3, complete with extending arms!
Really awesome video!! There have been plenty of videos showcasing the breaking ground stuff, but an actual mission like this gives me a much better idea of what's capable!!!
Woodgrain banjo, because nothing beats woodgrain and I might as well have something nice to look at while I'm subjected to the torture that is banjo music. :P My favourite videos of yours are the rescues where there's a bit of a backstory to HOW things went tits up to the point an external rescue was required. The Mun rescues especially have this air of "Oh my lord, I've DONE that" to them. Personally I'm quite happy for things to be hammed up a bit for extra scripty entertainment. Also, your rocket designs are exquisite. I'm lucky if I can keep mine aerodynamic, and you're here building works of art. :D

Hey, when you are doing 'Rescue' Missions you should grab a car on the ship, That's why when you're on kerbin you can drive to the launch pad. (Takes more work but worth it)
Banjos over ukuleles. And I’m always partial to black lacquer. I look forward to seeing a lathe lander that fits in a mk3 cargo hole that doesn’t look like a cubed dart
The rover JUST avoiding taking Jeb's head off as it left the lander was hilarious
Yeah! 🤣 I'm surprised no one really noticed that!
"7 Jebedias out of Bill." I rate that rating *8* Jebedias out of Bob.
Next dlc confirmed.
Isn't that just what we do in game anyway?
Sherlock
And the one after that would be "Making Ground".
Yes, we need to replace the ground after we broke it
What about “making ice”?
I actually dont mind the longer videos
Owen P same, I love his videos!
