For those yall need to understand i own both an once i drilled the exhaust on the 162 it made a world of a difference more then my 170 with the walbro 215 carb so yea underestimate saw just needs to come with a more flowing exhaust but the whole reason they gettin weaker is because of mufflers epa is crazy making them put a whole catalytic converter in these things tbh its unreal stupid
I'm not one of these people that live in Bedrock and complain about fuel injected vehicles.. BUT.. The 170 is lighter and has a bit more horse power than the 162. Food for thought. I think you're channel is great! Keep up the good work!
@@kerryharper5675 Sorry, I don't own a 162 or 170. I was looking at the specs on Sthi's website. I'd like to add a 170, however. I hope that I can get one before they are gone. They have been discontinued.

It looks like the 162 has a .050 chain and the 170 has a .043 chain that is most likely the difference.
