@@jeyjey186 mostly of girls have long hair, it's associated with mainstream feminity. I have a short cut too, it's very comfortable and easy to wash.
1:59 Oh my goodness. PLEASE WEAR A MASK LIKE SHE SAYS WHEN YOU DO THIS!! I did not, because I didnt have one and I also underestimated how bad it could be. Ive got a sore/burning throat now and Ive been coughing up my lungs for a few days and it REALLY hurts from so much dry coughing. SERIOUSLY WEAR A MASK, ITS NOT WORTH IT!
Blurillaz23 I do every time and I have a special brush that I dip gently in water and sweep over my desk between every hair trim, Face up and clay sculpting. It leaves my desk a touch sticky until I hit it with a wet wipe and a tissue. Seriously folks, you get one pair of lungs, No doll is worth damaging them!!
Now a days, everyone has a mask so there is no excuse! Wear a mask everyone!

My granddaughter and her friends have several dolls that need hair makeovers. We've decided to try making wigs following your tutorials. I was wondering if you can make a curly or Afro style wig using the curly type yarn that is used for making ruffled scarfs. They have dolls from several ethnic groups and they want different styles to try on the various dolls. Thanks for sharing your tutorials. They are really very well made. Have a Blessed day!

@@-SweetCheesecake- Yes...3 years and still playing with dolls! I never thought of using the yarn for dreads. I looked and found some really pretty dread looks for dolls on RUclips. Thanks for reaching out!
Again, I know this comment is old, but... Maybe this will help? I rerooted a doll using acrylic yarn that I untwisted but left in the curls that remained in the fiber. Originally it looked a bit like a twist out, and once I brushed it out it turned into a lovely afro-like look!
I'd love to see your take on an undercut wig, where one side is super short and the other side is really long!

An undercut is usually where long hair folds over both sides of shaven/short hair.
Incase you needed that information.

Aiyana Williams I am kicking myself for throwing out my extensive yarn collection from my knitting days. I have over 157 hanks of silky yarn that would have made baby hair jealous!! And it almost never fluffed out!

this is just gorgeous. making wigs for dolls may seem a bit weird for a profession, but you're so good at it, this is just obviously what you were meant to do. really lovely

This is the first time I have watched any of your videos and I just loved it! I have just recently decided I want to try making a doll wig and I really love this one. But one other thing, I was so pleased to see that you recommended using a mask because of the small fibers. As a younger women I was a nurse and know how many people, especially young ones, who have asthma and allergies that take very little to set them off. And so often people forget to instruct the folks doing these projects to use common sense safety precautions which can make a big difference to their health in the long run. If there was a weekly RUclips Good Video Citizens Award you would be this weeks winner! Thank you and please keep crafting and sharing!

Very beautiful wig cap. I like the paint brush technique to wet the hair. You have more control over how much water goes into the wig. Very nice.

ang galing! i think kaya ko na rin gumawa ng wig sa tulong ng mga videos nyo. ang problema ko lang di ako magaling magdrawing kaya di ko marepaint yong miao doll na binigay sakin.. ayokong masira si baby loraine ko hehe.. subscriber nyo po ako and talagang gustong gusto ko mga videos nyo.
Wig tip--- thinning shears work great as an alternative to snipping those little pieces off.

For the cutting, I've made the experience that it looks even softer when you cut the hair with a razor blade =D
