We have an affi and they’re beautiful trouble 😂 They think they’re a big dog and are pretty fearless for their size, the ratting instinct doesn’t leave them either, if we’re walking her near a river bank and she sees a rat her hackles rise and she freaks out.
She so loving but doesn’t take well to strangers. She’s strong willed and I think hard to train. She’s funny and comical and makes us laugh every day.

Smart, intelligent, loyal dog that fears nothing. My favorite pedigree.

My Affenpinscher was the sweetest, funniest little character. Every day he made me laugh with his cheeky personality and charm. They are such loving dogs but so rare to see! I have only ever seen one other purely by chance outside of specific Affenpinscher events in the UK (dog shows/kennel club parties etc) I'm surprised they aren't more popular. It was fascinating hearing their history from wags to riches 😛I'm hoping to get a Borzoi in future too, your dogs are gorgeous! 😊

Enjoyed the history of the Affenpinscher. I had no idea that they were popular with the social elite during that time in history. Nor did I know that they were used on the farm. I am looking forward to your next video.

I saw an old video of Borzoi wolfhounds and how they hunted down wolves. Very interesting! Could you maybe make a video one day called; “A day in the life of a Borzoi owner”? It would be very cool. I also like this cool series your making!

I recently got an Affenpitcher, enjoyed your research on their origins. Not a very common dog, not much info on youtube. Well done!

It's not pronounced OFF it starts out as AFF here in the USA. I have an Affie. He is 4 years old. I am part of the Affenpinscher of America Club so I have been around many of them and gone to dog shows. They are lively, spritely, smart, funny and sensitive. My dog definitely has a sense of humor. If I call him "snorky" or "chi chi beanie weenie" he howls with joy and starts doing his hindleg dance. My Alfie follows me like a shadow and would do anything for me. He is VERY protective of my home. He does not attack people but barks to let me know someone is nearby. He was a little reluctant to engage my groomers granddaughter but learned to tolerate a toddler. He did well at obedience school because he wants my approval.
