Could you explain the difference between the CO2 fractional laser and the Sciton laser? I'm particularly interested in how they compare in terms of technology, treatment depth, downtime, and effectiveness for acne scars. My dermatologist said I need CO2 laser because the scars are quite deep. What do you think? Should you only try the Halo laser for example because the co-laser carries a bigger risk of hyperpigmentation?
Hi, this video is exactly what I was looking for 😊 Do you know if there is any clinic in the UK that offers all of these treatments (Genius, Moxi, Halo, BBL Hero)? Many thanks!!
@Dr_Abs first off thanks for this. I have about 1-1.5mm rolling and boxcar scars on my temples and have been considering using microneedling to smooth them out over time. Is this solution here truly a one-time deal and is the treatment priced by surface area or some other metric(s)? Also if going with microneedling what timeframe should I expect for similar results as this method here?
Wouldn't go near it. If I remember correctly, when I emailed them asking for energy figures they gave me some bullshit about not being able to measure it because multiple wavelengths were being produced at the same time. The sun produces multiple wavelengths but we can still measure daylight intensity to see if a game of cricket needs to be stopped 😂 aside from that, the figures on it are pretty average at best in my opinion. Save yourself the bother and grab a dermalux instead
I brought an environ brand one, it's expensive but at least you know it won't damage your skin. I started micro needling in 2017 and 7 years later ppl tell me how I've got real good skin for my age but in-between I didn't micro needle for 2.5 years. I did use retinol products in between as well
Good question, the truth is that the best would be different for each person. Hydroquinone I believe is quite reliable in my opinion. However, for difficult pigmentation I recommend combining skincare with things like Sciton BBL too.
for shallow boxcars can dermal fillers like revanesse be used ,or fat grafts? and would 2940 fractional erbium also help with those in addition to pigmentation concers, or seperate laser /treatment like bbl/ pico needed for those?
Hmm I does depend on each case individually. However, erbium is a good option as are Revanesse, BBL heroic also. You could even combine all three if appropriate.
so happy to have found you channel
The genius looks great… I can’t see anywhere in the UK offering it tho
There's load of places! Which city are you in?

What do you think of the LightStim device?

Can you do video on products that you sell that heal surgical lipo scar?
What do you think about Morpheus8? It’s also Microneedling with RF.
What can I do if my scars are really shallow and few, can topical treatments work like retinoids?
Thank you. Can you suggest where to find sunecozr in the US
Potenza RF is much better and more customizable than genius especially for thinner skin and darker skin tones.
Potenza has no ability to measure impedence so there is zero ability to ensure consistent energy transfer
Does Endymed Intensif work? Or Morpheus8?
I think Lutronic Genius is still better than both of those
Dr. Abs. I'm looking to buy a derma roller. I see there are tons on the market. May I please have some referrals. Thank you. Helen

Doc what's your most recommended depigmenting product? Hydroquinone,
Thiamidol, Cysteamine etc.?
