What grows hair?
✅Commitment
✅Consistency
✅Care (being extremely gentle)
✅Cleansing (solid scalp and hair cleansing regimen)
✅Crops (crops (vegetables), overall diet, ample water
Hair is constantly growing, but must be maintained to thrive. (Cleansing, grooming)
I have used these ingredients to help me achieve waist length hair. In addition, you must keep your hair in protective styles (twists, braids) for long periods of time. (3 - 4 weeks at a time etc) practice gratefulness, positive mindset, excellent diet, proper sleep, consistency, exercise, gentle detangling, no heat at all (my experience), daily oiling of hair ends , deep scalp massage, diy natural mild shampoos and deeply moisturizing diy conditioners, practice mindfulness and lower stress. The results are my own. All results vary. Hair does not grow long overnight. Average hair growth is 6 inches a year. I started my natural hair journey 10 years ago but had many setbacks as it took many years of research and trial and error to find methods/products that worked for me. Of the 10 years, it took me roughly 4 years to achieve waist length hair.
More insight: I’m a non-smoker and do not drink alcoholic beverages, nor do I take any medications.

Pretty nails ❤
Sooo true about not braiding it all to the end and not too tight! That’s why I’ve been sticking to twists lately to maintain my hair your hair is beautiful!❤
Thank you yes!! I learned this by trial and error!
Love your channel!❤
Tia.. Ma’am! When are we gonna collaborate 🤔😏🤗
Let’s do it!! End of April/first week in May? - DM me on gram - wellnessdecoded ❤❤❤
I’m doing the challenge now!! but with creams and oil and on twisted hair (base is braided) I’m ready to get to waist length by next summer
Girl you’ll get there next year for sure!! Be gentle and consistent!! Yay keep me updated💕
Lovely hair! 🌸 Yes, Lord willing, I’m leaving my hair in medium to small plaits all year. Last year, I cornrowed the front with plaits in the back and my hair flourished! Protective styles with your own hair and managed correctly makes a huge, positive difference with length retention! 😄 Thanks for sharing. 🌺
That’s so great to hear! Keep me updated love (at the end of the year or whenever 💕)
Will do! 💕
Beautiful, love your nails btw.
@@sabrinae.6361 thank you lovely ♥️
Just watched your other video and I asked how long you keep the braids in but you just answered my question 1-2 weeks ✅got it!
@@shariagreen6864 yes but now I’m doing 60 mini braids and I keep them in for 6 weeks and wash them every 2 weeks♥️
ruclips.net/user/shortsAqFDj0bpXgw?si=S_UhxxR04r8fDlY0
I use flexi rods and a bit of gel and oil on my ends after washing to keep them from getting those stubborn knots.
@@BlushingRoseDiaries nice!
I like your technique. This time I did braids instead of twists on my hair, I will keep and maintain it for one month.
Love this! Just make sure:
you check the ends every week to ensure no matting (which I’m sure you’ll do)
& be sure to moisturize the hair weekly (simple water and oil)
💕
@@tialynn1111 thank you for the tips. I'll pay much attention to my ends thanks to your advices.
🙏🏽🙏🏽💕💕
You’re right about not making the braid tight. I did mini braids in the past and will not do it again. It took such a lengthy time to unravel them and they were starting to tangle because of how tight it was :/
Yes same experience - def learned my lesson! 💕
That's why i hate tiny tight braids.. it turns out a mess. I prefer twists and chunky braids that are twisted 3" at the ends.
Yes I’ve realized this - makes it more difficult. There’s a fine balance too though, because too loose and the hair will get frizzy and could get matted too.
I’ve found braiding on the looser side is what works
Yes braiding on the loooser side. If you pay attention to how the Chadian women braid during Chene application, this is how I try to braid. The goal is to smooth and elongate the hair .
Right, that’s so true! 😊
What causes knots @tialynn1111
@@charnettapettie920 ends that aren’t conditioned or lubrictaed. Allowing your ends to coil onto themselves. Even snapping at the ends, when the recoil happens it’ll knot onto itself. --“my own experience”
Heyy Tia!! Thank you for the video. Please, what do you mean by classic length?
Thanks lovely lady
It’s right under butt cheek (not sure how else to describe it 😆
@@tialynn1111 I understand. That is a goal of mine too. Surely in a few years we both would've checked this done!
@spokenwordd8115 yes exactly
I’m thinking 2-2.5 years 💕🙏🏽
Do you mind sharing what vitamins you take if you do take any?
Hi I do not take any
I juice daily and eat pretty healthy
Do you use any supplements to help hair growth?
@@--Lily--- hello no I just eat Whole Foods - fruits dark leafy greens - limit sugar and salt- and I eat lots of onion garlic♥️♥️
Hello ! What is your hair porosity ?
Hi- It seems I have two different porosities and textures
The texture is looser in the front and more course in the back w/ low porosity (I think)
Where did you order your bonnet from??
Hi love it’s from www.lilysilk.com

Hey Tia! How many braids do you wear in your hair? When I put my hair in larger and less amount braids my roots always puff up like crazy, so I'm wondering if I should do more braids....
OMG nevermind my question....you said 23 braids after I left my comment lol.
Hey love!💕 changed it to 26 now!
