Have you ever had the check ball stick? Mine was good on my rebuild and one month later I was having an issue with starting so I opened up my carb and it was full of nice clean gas as expected. When disassembling to try and find the issue, the check ball was stuck and I had to dig it out with a pick. How can that be prevented?

Next time use heat on the outside. they almost always drop out. Be sure the bigger check ball was used in the main discharge. They usually stick because the wrong check ball was used.

I just used this vid to test the accelerator pump on my Quadrajet. It squirts out both top openings like it should. However, when I put the air horn on and test, only the right side primary squirts fuel. Can you help me, thanks.

Hey Mike, I've had my B rebuilt but for some reason the choke is sticking just a bit on acceleration. Could use a little advice.
