Tip: swap out the produce bag for an oven bag. The oven bag is rated to around 350 degrees so that you can boil water in the bag.

I’m going to create a kit to hold spare medications, sometimes I forget to take them in the morning and if I’m out and about then I won’t have to go back home if I miss taking them for the day. Yes Benadryl is important, saved a kid’s life once by having it in my truck during a Little League game years ago.

While watching I decided to go through my EDC I keep in my purse. I have an EDC kit I bought on Amazon. I added more to it but you have more in your smaller container than I can fit in mine. I have other items connected to a carabineer. I need to figure out what I did with the flashlight I had in there lol and I need a tiny first aid kit. 💋

Excellent info. Just a year ago I was thrown off my horse on my families Central MT ranch, 🎉when she got into wire and then she rolled on me and broke my tibia. I was stupid and forgot my phone. Had to crawl 1/3 mile to a neighbors house. Thankfully he was home and I called my husband. Long story, but the MT ortho Dr almost killed me by wrapping my leg crooked as I needed to travel 500 miles to my home in Spokane for surgery. Thankful to still be here now!

I have made many of these kits, always messing with them to get them just right, and I think yours goes above and beyond. I've never seen some of that stuff. Your firestarters sealed in the straws is an excellent idea!

Suggestion: put the paper in a small plastic zip bag. Same for the lighter. In case you ever drop your mini kit in water. Also, please don’t burn the straw. You have cutting tools. Your lungs will thank you. Otherwise good kit. Good video.

if you use the tiny expandable cloth as toilet paper, and rinse it out, you can use the safety pin to attach it to your pack or clothing to dry out for next time. Wouldn't hurt to squeeze on 2. One for hands, and one for bum. an extra tiny pin would help tell them apart.

Lipstick. Great video and mini survival kit!!! I would add a couple of nails, saran wrap, a ferro rod and striker, a mini sewing kit, a few gifts (Walmart, Target, Walgreens, fast food, etc.), some change, etc. With grocery or plastic bags, you can tie around a tree branch to collect water as well. I keep a multitool, flashlight, can opener, whistle, lighter, permanent match, nail clippers, pocket slingshot, tweezers, ferro rod and striker, a mini magnifying glass, and a mini signal mirror on a keychain in my pocket. Those things are easy to reach items in an emergency. I keep a mini survival kit in my pocket, as well. I am making my mom, sister, brother, sister in law, niece, nephew, and brother in law a mini edc/survival kit. My favorite items are your multitools, nail clippers, tweezers, and flashlight.

  • @christimorgret7818

Favorite item: the single use charger.
I love kits, plural. While getting so many useful items into one place is clever and appealing, I've never been comfortable having truly EDC things mixed with emergency use only things, especially packed that tightly. Nothing comes out but everything does, and then you have to stop and repack carefully, making sure no tiny tool gets left behind. My actual EDC hangs out in my pockets or purse organizer with SHTF in the bottom of a low profile bag.

  • @danniemcdonald7675
    @danniemcdonald7675 Месяц назад +6

WOW! I would love to see you pack a suitcase! 😂
    You have a great assortment
I like the whistle and the card charger. I'm looking forward to seeing your review on it.
One thing I might add is eye drops ... to flush the eyes if something gets splashed, blown or sprayed into them. I use some lubricant gel drops (thicker than regular drops) that come in single-use units. They would be good to have if thete is a lot of sand, smoke or wind.
Something else, and I guess it would be an individual choice is contact information, as well as any prescription medication and medical history. That could be folded in your aluminum foil ( great idea, BTW). Maybe change that $20 bill into some smaller bills so you won't have to pay $20 for something that costs $3.
    💄💋

💄 Awesome tiny EDC kit!! Very similar to what I carry. I've always carried stuff like this, even in high school, back in the '70s! 😂 The other kids used to call me K&B, which was the local major pharmacy chain. I really enjoyed your video. One suggestion is I noticed you have multiple multi-tools. Perhaps you could find one...ONE...that consolidated all of them, and free up a wee bit of space for more great stuff. Just a thought. Otherwise, fantastic job!

Recommend putting all the flat things on top wrapped in rubber bands or hair ties. That way they can be gone through with ease, it adds a useful item, they can stay organized and more accessible than on the bottom of the bag. You'd have to empty the whole bag to get to those items otherwise.

I have a mini edc but also a bigger edc case if I go somewhere slightly further away from home. I know it sounds weird but Switch cases are amazing. They are waterproof, can withstand some impact, most of them have a wrist strap and they are pretty long so I can fit a bigger torch inside as an upgrade of my mini torch with my keys, even some biscuits and electrolyte drinks powder.

The super tiny keychain type multi-tools that I have carried for years are by Gerber... The Gerber Shard & the Gerber Mullet. I also have lots of mini multi-tools, usually unbranded, that I have picked up over the years. One of my faves is called the Scarab. (It really does look vaguely like a scarab beetle!) I've also carried the Leatherman Micra for decades. It takes me roughly 10-15 years to wear out a Leatherman Micra with careful use.
Years & years ago, I found a really neat fishing pole... It's roughly about 1 foot long & 1 inch thick when retracted. (It's made of fiberglass) You feed the fishing line through the center of the rod. The lure & bobber are also stored inside the rod. To deploy it, you pull it out & twist each segment to use friction to keep the rod ready for use. I think I paid $5 for it about 20 years ago at a bait shop.
