I downloaded all tools but didnt really explore them. Evicting takes poking one byte in the parameter store, so that will likely also be in my version.
There is a 3rd dog colour, that comes into play via the 3rd byte of the serial number, along with some colour combinations of clothing. Pitcher / Fairlight
Another great video, thanks! Q: What's your workflow with 6502Bench when you hit large range of self-modification (such as an EOR deobfuscation loop)? Can you overlay a modified byte range without losing the code analysis already completed?
Little computer scientists ^^ :) and LCP,... let me think... btw. nice FLT-stickers at redbubble! not bad ruclips.net/video/i4IAbBjnn5w/видео.html but I had another Rother track in mind^^, greetings, best wishes for the year and the next 25
@@FairLight1337 that's understandable :) To me as mere gamer cracking and training games seemed an uncomprehensible divine gift and there was no book to shed light on the tools and skills.
Not really. Sublime is multi, VICE is on all systems and KickAssembler is JAVA so its any system as well. 6502 bench is Windows only, so that is the only one.
reminds me of those oldschool snowdog tools - lcp evictor and lcp hotel. nice to see how it all worked! thanks!

Best wishes for 2025 and a lot of cool productiuons from Fairlight all over the year :)
Humble thanks and all the best!
Always good to hear from you! Best wishes for 2025 ❤
Thanks and the same to you!

Thanks James. We should have coordinated more before me recording :)
Happy New Year 😁 I enjoyed this episode. As always great surprise topics.
Happy new year!
The great granddad of The Sims
Indeed. Precursor to an entire genre.
Awesome. Hard to believe I get to hear this.
Thanks - glad you like it :)
Interesting topic. LCP is a bit different on tape than the disk. The diskette version has some extra features that the tape version does not have.
Agree. The tape version doesn't load external modules like the records, piano tunes and that stuff...
Lovely. The serial characters can mean 'activation' as well...
I didnt get that. The serial is the seed for which character you get.

Great question. I have never worked with such a project, so I haven't had the case. I could see that Pirate Slayer boot would be an example.
Love LCP!! ❤
We all should! :)

@@FairLight1337 yo, when I get my creditcard back I want to order a pack of stickers!) and for eastern a t-shirt :)
Great choice :)
coders have extra fun gaming! :)
Crackers hate playing games. You train them and the compulsory need to test. Boooring.

There is of course and episode about it :)
Cool 😎 pre Sims
Very much so :)
Uh Bacchus!!! greetings.. I was a member of The Sharks (Germany) & The Force - Australia/Israel
Had good friends of The Sharks. Zap and Paradroid. Never interact directly with Darkforce but his crunchers were so great.
are those tools available on linux or macos?
Which of the tools? 6502 bench or any of the others?
@ as far as I understand most of the tools you are using, they all windows apps right?
a matter of taste, I'd use linux to be at $home
