i will literally never shut up about this scene. the cinematography, the acting, the music, the suspension, the sound effects, everything about it is just epic, immaculate.
my favorite scene not just in stranger things, but in cinema all together. how does this show just keep getting better? deserves all the awards hands down 30/10 best show ever.

Vecna standing at 2:17 is way too cool. He's covered in flames, but still keeps moving forward without even blinking. Really badass. 🔥🔥

This was the most satisfying scene so far in the show.

Note: vecna's vines where in the upside down already even before barb dies. By the logic he is the ring leader of the hive mind. Technically Nancy just avenged barb. As she got the last shot on him and he brought her to a rendition of Steve's pool in which barb dies there. So it's feels more personal for Nancy that she has to kill vecna to prevent anyone else getting hurt. (Ofc it was a fail as the upside down has merged with the real world).
Everyone forgets Fred was also her friend… she avenged two friends here

Season 1 Stranger Things had some really special stills - like El in the woods, the kids hugging at the quarry etc. that were really awesome shots. They also had some really special music, specific themes for certain people, groups, events etc. By season 4, there were so many amazing scenes - whole scenes (mostly those with Kate Bush, our queen) that combine the incredible cinematography and music that give me goosepumps for days! While I'm not sure if this is the best season or not, these incredible scenes really make it the most memorable for me since season 1 and it reminded me why I love this show so much! Natalia Dyer is amazing in this scene as nancy and you can best believe her final shot to Vecna is my new screensaver!
I don’t know the beginning is pretty slow but BOY that has gotta be the best ending to every season. And it shows how far the characters have come.
Season 1: eleven sends the demo back to the upside down (thanks to one we know that didn’t kill it)
Season 2: Eleven closes an inter dimensional portal!
Season 3: The gang infiltrate a Russian base exposing it to the US military and kill the mind flayer along with the flawed
Season 4: A closing if everyone’s story
Hopper kills the demogorgan (twice)
Nancy gets revenge for Barbra
Max accepts her brothers loss (for like 20 minutes before dying)
And eleven finally rids Hawkins of the upside down killing the source.

This was one of the best scenes of any show….and during the 4th season, which is usually when most shows have lost steam. Just an incredible season.
Also. Seriously underrated music editing - the way the song catches after Vecna gets up after the first molotov, then as Robin's throw of the second Molotov hits home the song picks up in triumph. I could watch that part through the end on a loop.
i don't think there will ever be any series that can beat stranger things i don't want it to end hope final season will be the best ever because if it ends i want it to end with heart thanks to the duffer brother for creating this amazing story

Eu assisti o volume 2 da 4 temporada de stranger things no dia da estreia dia 01/07/22 e eu surtei nessa cena ,foi simplesmente épico ver a Robin e o Steve tacando fogo no vecna e foi simplesmente assustador ver o vecna se levantando em chamas e olhando pra cara deles ,parecia o motoqueiro fantasma e aí depois vem a Nancy com uma arma atirando no vecna e meu deus que mulher é essa, não mexam com a Nancy que ela é muito badass , não é atoa que é minha segunda personagem favorita da série e em paralelo a isso também tem o hopper matando um demogorgon e tudo isso ao som de running up that hill da Kate bush,mano esse final de temporada foi épico,cada cena acontecendo ao mesmo tempo com cada um contribuindo e ajudando uns aos outros mesmo que de longe é uma coisa maravilhosa, épica e incrível de se ver, eu amei cada segundo,eu gritei,torci por eles,cantei a música,mano eu tenho orgulho de fazer parte disso ,tenho orgulho de ser fã dessa série,tenho orgulho de ser dessa geração.

One of the best parts behind this fight is the 'show don't tell' on the hcaracters' expressions.
They're not shouting about all the pain they went through because of Vecna or the Demogorgon.
They're don't give any final cries about who they're fighting for or some message about vengeance.
The expressions when firing the molotovs, firing the shotgun, and swinging the sword say everything.
Wish more series had 'show don't tell' like this. Honestly such a beautiful finale.

It's much easier to miss if you go for the head. She had only a few bullets & moments to spare, she had to make every shot count in a limited time.
Nancy shot him in both sides of his chest and lower right abdomen. That would have been most likely fatal at least one lung is completely gone the other side his heart is probably hit and hit guts are gone
@@AB-zl4nhagreed and they were running out of time and the gates are gonna open anyway with MAX essentially passed out. And you don't have aim for the zombies head, you just have to disable it by aiming for chest or legs, that'll buy you time, or in this case injury Vecna enough to hide somewhere in the Upside Down to lick his wounds like a injured dog.

This is a big event in television history. I would like to point out the sound mixing and sound design, are fantastic!
So.........it appears that vecna will have to rethink his entire strategy come around season five, seeing is that he got bested once again by eleven in his mind lair realm, got his ass handed to him by steve,nancy, and robin in his physical form, and was painfully weakened by Murray, Hopper, and Joyce when they fought the Demogorgons and demodogs in the Russian prison. Maybe the human race isnt as weak as vecna first thought, that they're are humans out there that can challenge him
He's already made the first move by bringing the entire Upside Down to their doorstep, setting the stage for an all-out epic war between it and mankind.

Wonderning why Vecna didn't use his powers to kill Nancy, Robin and Steve. Maybe the pain and the forcefully being pulled out of the weird tentacle thing jammed/weakend his powers for a moment? Or maybe he had exausted them during the mental fight with 11/Jane/Onze/El and didn't want to risk passing out, cause if he passed out kiling only 1 or 2 of them the rest would surely make up he doesn't wake up in a hospital bed this time.
I think it was a mix of all of them, he was probably startled when he was taken out of his mind thing, and he also probably couldn’t focus to use his powers since he was in pain.
Notice how when Nancy shoots Vecna he sustains the shots at first, but after Hopper kills the Demogorgon he’s sent flying out the attic. The creatures in the Upside Down are all connected in one big hive mind, but they also make Vecna stronger when under his command.

I don’t know why they didn’t decide to kill Vecna? They had the chance right there! They could have gone downstairs and chopped off his head! Or at least shot him in the head! Wasn’t that the ENTIRE purpose of the confrontation? Did they just change their minds? I don’t understand this scene. They just leave him alone to FULLY recover?
they had to because Stranger Things will have a season 5 that will most likely continue of Vecna not dying

@@GilbertGTV There also isnt much to tell how much time goes between Vecna falling out the window and the kids running downstairs to see his body has vanished. It could have been their intention only for him to be gone when they arrived.
@@levihicks7539 Exactly. I got the feeling they came downstairs pretty fast and were going to finish him off. Not only that, but people have to remember this scene was slow motion. It actually happened in seconds. Nancy wasn't a trained and was just walking forward shooting a moving target. If she wasn't completely confident in her shooting ability they actually tell you to aim for the center mass. So I think the lack of a head shot was plausible too.
Adrenaline is a hell of a drug firstly, they also more than likely ran straight down after him only for him to have vanished. It’s that whole “Namek explodes in 5 minutes” thing, seems like forever to us watching, but in universe shit is happening quick.
