Tbh it didnt make sense for his character development as a challenging antagonist for bugs, so i understand why they changed it. Overall, in this new series, elmer is meaner towards bugs.

I'm not exactly sure how to feel about this. On one hand, this reboot is about the closest it comes to capturing the style and charm of the original Looney Tunes compared to Wabbit and the 'New' Looney Tunes. On the other hand, the gross-out humor really doesn't match the style of the series. Not even the Mickey Mouse Cartoon shorts and the Animaniacs reboot had as many grotesque moments as this show does.
That Animaniacs reboot... isn't like the original in my opinion. Tbh, I love gross out humor in cartoons in my opinion. Ren and Stimpy was the reason why.
